7. Standing in line
We not only need to march against the stealing of this election. We need to march against this illegal war. We have to get this movement started NOW!

Power in numbers!

Sorry to rain on your parade but after last Saturday in Columbus Ohio I am just sick and tired of hearing the "take the streets" mantra. 400 people showed at the Statehouse. 400!! With 2 kegs and a Frisbee I could have gotten 400 people.

Voters are finished with this election and the lack of participation in these events proves it. While I will love to see something happen, I will not hold my breath. Here is my prediction......

1.Ohio recounts.
2.The votes are basically what they are now.
3.The Reps. use these numbers to point and say we are just the crazy crybabies.

17. 400 is a start
We can make 400 into 4000 if we try. This movement will never take off if we cry about the numbers. 400 is better than 0.

10. I've Said It Once, I'll Say It Again
No Apologies needed for an attempt to rain on our parade. Rain comes from clouds and always fall downward. WE (not including you in the WE) do not have our head in the clouds, but instead are above the clouds, above the deception, in the zone of clear skies and clear thinking. It is not necessarily the Voters we are fighting for. It is all those that 'thought' they voted, or at least that their vote was accurately recorded, and those that didn't even get the chance to vote, that we are fighting for.

And we WILL win, because we will REFUSE to fail.

12. 400? People who were there said there were more
the people I talked to said there were b/w 1,000 and 1,500

I agree that people aren't going to march. We saw what that got us in the marches against Iraq.

But the more people we can get emailing, snail-mailing, and LITIGATING (these are things people are willing to do, otherwise we'd never have gotten this far)....

But we don't need "blah, blah, blahers" spreading defeatest apathy.

Keep informing the public. It's therapeutic, it can be exciting (if you live in a blue state)....critical mass will be reached soon.

Today was a decisive day.

Now, as someone posted elsewhere, it's also time to start e-blasting and s-mailing the Repukes....

Let the games begin.

6. Make your plans now for DC for inauguration.
Edited on Wed Dec-08-04 08:54 PM by intheflow
Nothing is going to stop the electors from casting their votes next week. Short of a huge Abu Ghraib-type scandal linked directly to the chimp, he's getting sworn again in on January 20th.

United for Peace and Justice is organizing: http://www.unitedforpeace.org/article.php?id=2651

Turn Your Back On Bush is another 1/20 movement: http://www.turnyourbackonbush.org/about.html

I'd also like to find a group that will be marching on the DC media.
