I saw him a little bit on C-span this morning and I was impressed by him. He had a lot of spunk and is projecting that 'new blood' energy the Dem party really needs.
Anybody know more about him?

too bad. I'd like to know more about him too. Was he a Clintonista of some sort? Of course, I would think that's a good thing.

Donnie Fowler was with Wes Clark, in Gr.Rapids Mi. when Clark was stumping for Kerry, one week before the election. He was very cordial, came over to me and said, there are alot of us Clark people, backing John Kerry. He also said to me very quietly..." We are going to win! I asked if he had knowledge not spoken, he said YES...so there is something going on behind the scenes with the Kerry Camp we don't know. He joked with me, and we all chatted for about 15-20 min. He IS very knowledgable, and is very aggressive. I liked him! Very friendly guy, and think he would be an asset. His problem with the Clark Campaign,was when Wes brought in the "professionals" into the campaign and wanted not much imput from the grassroots (us) who originally drafted Clark. He is very consistant in his support from the bloggers, and regular people like on DU. Would be an asset. Wish I would have seen him on C-Span this a.m.! Will it repeat??? What program was he on!! Please Post!

He was terrific- and I'm a Dean supporter. I don't know how good Fowler is organizationally, but I sure liked what he had to say. He stood up for dem principles and didn't take any crap from the wingnuts. From what I saw, he'd be a good DNC chair.
