2. No link. Just the exit polls to the latest vote tallies.
Kerry's percentage has been increasing since 11/02 as absentee and provisional ballots come in.

4. Just look at the exit poll and the latest vote tallies.
The media was talking about a Kerry mini-landslide based on the exit polls. Yet Bush had a big early lead in the votes. Made no sense.

6. 51% - 48% for Kerry
That is the catch.

The percentages are exactly reversed in Bush's favor.

Again, is a 6% statistical shift, "just because" as we know.

7. 51 - 48 Kerry: VERY similar to final Economist YouGov Poll
The Economist YouGov poll is from a panel of thousands of voters who participated in the poll over the last year. This methodology eliminates the non-response bias, and cell phone bias, of traditional telephone polls. When I saw this final poll, and the exit polls, I KNEW we would win if the count wasn't hacked.

From the Economist:

Final YouGov/Economist poll shows Kerry 3% ahead of Bush YouGov’s final survey for The Economist on the American presidential election
shows John Kerry holding a three point lead over President George W Bush.

YouGov questioned 2,903 American electors between Friday October 29 and Monday November 1. Of these, 2,164 either had already voted (294) or were certain to vote, even if there were “a long line of people waiting to vote” (1,870). Excluding the 20 respondents who refused to say who they supported, or were still making up their minds, support was divided among the main candidates as follows:

John Kerry 50%
George Bush 47%
Ralph Nader 1%
Others 2%

8. And on the other hand, the final
Pew Poll had it 51-48 Bush which is exactly how it came out.
