3. My 3 year old son has his made (he insisted on finishing before bed)
It says:

I know why my vote
wasn't counted.

But what about yours?

And he did a bunch of drawings all around & put glitter glue on it.

--MarkusQ

P.S. He's very excited--it's his first protest march.

9. This sign is headed to D.C.!
This is my first post (and first protest). Hello!

I couldn't go back to sleep without brainstorming ideas for my sign. I'm using a big double-sided posterboard, so one side will say: "IF YOU'RE NOT OUTRAGED, YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION". Other side will say something like: "SELMA TO OHIO: JIM CROW LIVES".

17. I'm so excited for you!
Protesting is very exhilarating.

No matter what response you get from the onlookers, you will know you are doing something for the future of your country.

DEMOCRACY IN ACTION!

Let us know how it was when you get back!

11. Oh yeah. He listens to NPR. Some of his insights--
On the "enemy combatant scandle":

He told that Bush guy, it's no fair putting them in time-out that long. Got to tell them why you're mad about. If they say give you a hug and promise, promise be good, OK. But it's not fair so long without asking why you're mad at them.

Ever since the second debate, it's been "that angry Bush guy" instead of "that Bush guy."

And Barry Bonds:

That big baseball guy got in trouble for taking somebody else's medicine. You should never take someone else medicine. It could be bad to hurt you, and get you in big trouble. Have to go take nap instead of play baseball.

Our moms keep laughing and saying we're just getting what we deserve. I have know idea what they mean by that.

18. Your 3-year-old and my 5-year-old
need to hang out.

My son was 4 years old when we started working on the Clark campaign. He's come up with some amazing insights regarding Bush and his minions over the course of the year.

Maybe our boys are the real future of democracy: independent thinkers, ability not to fall asleep at the mention of politics (like so many sheeple) and an understanding of pure evil when they see it.

:)

And I sure hope my so is what I deserve. I'd like to think I was a pretty cool kid. Tee hee!

8. I went to a rally today (Saturday, because I haven't gone to bed yet)
My sign said

TOO
MANY
ERRORS
TOO
MANY
GLITCHES

and

INVESTIGATE
THE
PRESIDENTIAL
ELECTION

Not very creative but it made my point. Also, if it is a good sized sign and or on a long stick/handle/board put wind holes in it if possible. I had to fight the wind quite a bit.

13. Download this Blackwell graphic for your signs
Go to http://somnamblst.tripod.com to download a high res file to print. If you want you can cut out his head. I did that for last week in Columbus. If you need a Jeb Bush head shot PM me and I'll email it to you.
