1. For the Children.

This isn't just about this election, It is about the next one too. It's about 06 and 08 and 10. This is about our children's Children. If election reform is not completed No one may ever have the right to vote again.

It's so obvious a cause. we need paper trails and real Auditing. I'm doing this for you and your children. I'm doing this for my birth Mother who I haven't scene since I was born. Thats what this is about.

The truth is this. For the last 3 elections if not more the computer ballot boxes have been rigged. Large scale rigged. If this is not obvious to you, your not paying attention. Even if I can't get a fair game this time, I want a fair game next time. Thousands of people around the world are protesting.

the constitution grants All Humans the right to vote. not just the two or three who control the central tabulators. The reason it was not fixed in 04 after 2000 is because no one said anything after 2000. The only way it will ever get fixed by 06 and 08 is if we stand up and say something NOW.

Do the people of this country ever want their right to vote? I'm starting to wonder. So far Crowds are showing up in the 100's at multiple state capitals. I'm going now. I hope all the peace loving people join me there.

gives everyone the right to vote? I don't think there is one.

There is the 15th amendment that says the right to vote cannot be restricted because of race.

A Democrat close to the Kerry campaign, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Kerry had received plenty of "do not make this concession" advice from party members.

"It's not just the Internet conspiracy community," said the Kerry ally. "The every-vote-counts community is very strong inside the Democratic Party, and one does not want to discourage them."

Who would speak on condition of anonymity??? The "Internet Conspiracy Community"? I'd like to know who said this.

3. It's a good article, in the msm, and for the most part, not condescending

to those who want to make sure the votes are all counted. The LA Times is a major newspaper. I say this is a very good sign.

5. It's dismissive, but why?

That article, while at least acknowledging some concerns, was very dismissive.

It seemed almost to be a preemptive strike to try and deaden any thunder from the lawsuit tomorrow.

It was quite dismissive of Arnebeck. It did not mention that he used to be an attorney for Republicans, specifically McCain, I believe, but instead tries to quote only bits from Arnebeck's career that make people not take him seriously:
1)Perot supporter in Ohio; 2) failed candididate for Congress twice.

Makes him sound like a loser, but we know he is anything but that.

It was put out to sound like LATimes is fairly considering the challenge to the results, but instead of really having the facts, as someone stated on the other thread--it really makes light of all the massive disenfranchisement, etc. It flatters Blackwell. It is clearly biased reporting, propaganda, not news.

Too bad. We need to remind them of the facts, not that this reporter cares, but the Editor might.

On the other hand---it may go along with that weird comment by Arnebeck about Skull and Bones. It may be a deliberate strategery to not wake up the dogs, while getting in the yard.

I like the quote it ends with:

If the court orders a full and thorough investigation, he said, Kerry will win. He wishes Kerry would join the fight.

"He and his people are too ready to disbelieve that Republicans could be this bad," Arnebeck said. "They are this bad. Ballot-box stuffing is an old American tradition, and they've just updated it. I'm not surprised that somebody hacked this vote."

7. Please notice.....

....that you've got an LA Times Staff writer reporting FROM Columbus, OH filing a report on 12 Dec 2004 from a place that's sorta far away from LA.

And, the article is about something that "thousands of folk" along with Mr Arnebeck just "can't let it go" -- a "quixotic bid, to put it politely."

Right. Sure thing. The LA Times is spilling ink and has a staff writer reporting from Columbus OH because some guy on a mule is tearing into a windmill sometime after midnight.

And, then I spit coffee all over the keyboard when I got to the S&B sentence. I wonder, if indeed Mr Arnebeck said those words, just how hard he was laughing, either as he said it or after he saw the reporter print it ;-)

Eat well, do a hard workout, get some sleep everyone -- that 'windmill' is going to get trashed tomorrow (would love to know how many news organizations have folk checking into hotels in Columbus this afternoon).
