FOR THE RECORD: it is NOT "Voter" Fraud, it is "ELECTION FRAUD"!

I have seen a lot of members still using the phrase 'voter fraud'. that is NOT what this is about.

Thanks to all those trying to correct the people using 'voter fraud' in posts.

I thought this should be in a thread of it's own, should be kept kicked so people STOP using the misleading phrase.

it before I post. I don't even know why it happens. It is so clearly election fraud and not voter fraud. I promise to not let any more of those mistakes slip by again, but I've pretty much gotten out of the habit by now. You are so right to point in out.:-)

Voter fraud is the Repuke tern for fraudulent votes cast by non-existent voters. They accuse us of this all the time and they even have a book about it. Real Wall St. Journal Op Ed stuff. They say it disenfranchises the legal voters. They want to make it appear as a problem equivalent to that which we are accusing them of now, which is systemic election fraud, i.e., counting fraud, a la Stalin.

Now of course two wrongs don't make a right, but in our discussions and elsewhere, we should distinguish between the two.

Then there's that catch-all phrase "voting fraud." I think we need to avoid this one as it's much too vague, at least IMHO.

Thanks for starting a thread on this because it could really muddy the waters if it's not widely understood.

"Voter fraud" is pure Republican spin, because it implies crimes committed by "the voter", rather than by those who attempted to fraudulently manipulate the rolls, the machinery and the count.

Just another example of the purely Orwellian tactics of today's GOP.

10. "Vote fraud" could work, but I hear what you're saying.

"Voter fraud" suggests the voters are the criminals, not the victims. When it's the other way around. I corrected myself on this early on.
