Raw Story has an article up about people getting ready to protest the Ohio electors' votes on Monday. It can be found here:

1. Washington Post
new article under NATION IN BRIEF

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A60182-2004Dec12.html

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- As it has done for 200 years, Ohio's delegation to the electoral college is to meet Monday to vote for president and vice president -- but this time, there are demands that the electors wait until after a recount.

Demonstrators who do not accept that President Bush won the key state by more than 100,000 votes over Democrat John F. Kerry plan to protest outside the capitol during the vote in the state Senate chamber.

2. they alleged a protest and nobody came
Ummmm, excuse me. But there were a handful of protestors in Ohio today, Monday, 12/13/04, outside where the electors cast their votes for junior. Where in the hell was everybody?

3. My guess would be
that those same people who would've protested would have also been interested in being at the Conyers' hearing across town.

Was the original room that Conyers was denied for the hearing, in the same building where the electors met?

Perhaps that was why he was denied.

Good and bad timing, having both events occuring simultaneously.
