2. I just heard his voice and came over to see if there's a thread!
Isn't it great to hear him on AAR? And Joe Conason will be filling in for Al the rest of the week. This is a nice change of pace! I'm looking forward to Al phoning in from Iraq, btw.

5. Where is Randi??
It seems like they've been running reruns a lot lately, and now she's not even there. Should we check her door for a note that says "call 911?"

6. Just said Stephanie Tubbs-Jones will be on at bottom of hour...
with more about what went on at the hearing today!

Guys, I am getting the feeling now that there are so many leaks in this dam that it's out of control now for *Co.

10. Incredible
My gawd, this is what the Dems should be sending out. This is who we need to stand with and help support. So awful.

9. audio-related: standards war
Too bad the only listening formats offered are .rm (suck) and .wmv (evenmoresuck).

The least AirAmerica could do is offer a .pls (playlist) file that runs a .mp3 stream or even .ogg but NOO gotta toe that capitalist, monoculture line of offering only below-par software interfaces.

11. Ummm...
It might also have something to do with Pres. of Real Networks just donating like 13 mil to AirAmerica to help keep it afloat.

16. Stuff
I'm not surprised that they went forward to certify those votes... Blackwell *et al* don't want any questions to come up. We continue to raise questions about the process. There are people whose right to vote was abridged. That's why we had our hearing today.

Largest problems? Most serious issues?
Long lines, lack of voting machines. They knew there would be a huge turnout. Areas which used to have 4 voting machines had 3 or 3.

Problems with people having registered to vote, not finding name on list. They asked for provisional ballot but vote didn't count because they weren't registered to vote.

17. More stuff
Hartmann now talking about voter regs being destroyed (in other states). Not in OH.

S T-J: Dr. Norm Robbins, Judy Gallo: Greater Cleveland Voter Fund. They registered people to vote and tracked their registration through to BOE. Pointed out to Cuyahogo county that based on their tracking, a signficant number of people were denied registration to vote.

Was there a pattern as far as Ds vs. Rs registration?
S T-J: Don't know.

19. Yet more stuff
S T-J talking about electronic weirdness. No paper trail. Calling for check of the poll books. YEAH!

Need for greater training of the pollworkers. They're too old, don't keep up with stuff.

Very interesting: CLINT CURTIS! Testified under oath!
