C-SPAN - WA State Supreme Court Recount Hearing - LIVE
Edited on Mon Dec-13-04 04:44 PM by DoYouEverWonder
On now.

Conyers hearing must have been bumped for this?

However, this hearing is very important. It will set the precidents for the other recounts.

3. Do you know the makeup of the WA Supreme Court?
This case could be the one that makes the rules and I just hope the rule makers are on our side?

4. The lawyer for Sec of State Hood
Edited on Mon Dec-13-04 05:06 PM by DoYouEverWonder
arguing that a recount and recanvas are not the same thing.

That a recount in not a right, it is a statutory (?).

6. Some WA counties are refusing to recount
or recanvas.

What recourse would the people have if the canvasing board refuses?

Trying to define recount.

20. Well, fine then.

As long as the Democratic counties counties count :-)

It isn't like we didn't offer.

We'll see how long they "refuse to recount" once she has the lead.

(And if they still do, we know something is reeeeeeal fishy.)

8. It's all part of building the case for fraud
this is just the first step. Hopefully the WA Supreme court will be a favorable venue for our side.

10. Kings County on now
Rejected ballots are kept secured but not kept in sealed containers.

Observers are allowed to watch the tabulation process.

What happens when an observer objects to something?

They have to speak with a supervisor who will address the issue.

Have not had any problems with this part of the process.

Contest statutes are the remedy for after the canvassing board makes their decision.

18. They are claiming that we are trying to redefine recount
and that what we are asking for is actually a re-canvas. However, it is the Repugs that are trying to redefine recount.
