Did anyone watch the California EC vote?
I might have missed the vote, but when I tuned in, they just adjourned. Does that mean that they didn't cast their votes today because of the fraud???

4. But they had to replace about 10 Electors, who weren't there?
Isn't that curious that many Electors chose not to show up?
They DID all vote for Kerry eventually, but...

5. An elector said something cryptic at the Sacramento protest yesterday
I'm sorry I forgot to note who started this thread, but they wrote:

"One of the California Electors spoke to the crowd. He made a very interesting comment. First he described what they (the electors) were supposed to do, cast their vote for John Kerry and John Edwards. Then he said something along the lines of...that is not necessarily what will happen tomorrow."
"...... He said they have one choice and that is to cast their vote for John Kerry and John Edwards. He indicated that was not necessarily what they would do. I can tell you he was true blue and funny as hell. He was wearing a "some village in Texas is missing its idiot" t-shirt."

9. I posted that message
I just got back from a rally in Sacramento. The same elector addressed the crowd today. He said that they had to cast their vote today or a substitute elector would be selected to cast the vote.

There were actually two electors that addressed the crowd. I noticed a few more out in the crowd. They were very supportive and very much pushing for Barbara Boxer to join the House Dems in contesting the election. In all, there were about 250 people at the rally.

6. they voted....
with only light, passing, reference to counting all the votes. When the Chairperson joked about all the votes being done correctly, someone from the audience said, "and they were all counted," but it was kind of faint in the background and garnered no more than a few chuckled from the gathering. I was hoping for so much more of a statement. :) - G

13. I would suspect that the reason for having to replace so many...
electors may be that some are out of state at this time, volunteering with recounts in other states??!
