A NOTE TO THE ALTERNATIVE MEDIA: GET BETTER RADIO AND TV COVERAGE
Edited on Mon Dec-13-04 06:31 PM by Guarionex
I think I express a lot of people's sentiment with stating that the Alternative Media dropped the ball today....

I hope that's a lesson to everyone to NOT trust MSM and CSPAN...and Democracy Now, Air America, and the liberal blogs? Where were they?

The best we could do was some sort of Cellphone phone link from RadioLeft, which got cut abruptly....and perhaps some individuals with analog video footage...

however, in terms of a professional, live-feed on radio or TV, there was none of that.

If the Alternative media wants to compete with the MSM and force the MSM to cover these stories, it needs to first become professional enough to have these type of feeds and footage, to compel the MSN to cover these stories by the amount of traffic of interested people to their websites.

Today's POTENTIALLY explosive stories got blunted and people's optimism lost because a ready-source of footage and live-feed were not available. This hurt our movement.

So, without sounding like a spoiled brat...I hope the alternative media gets their act together for the next hearing.

Rant over
