Any DUers in Manhattan?
I would like to reach them. I am mad as hell that C-SPAN didn't air the Conyers Forum today, 12/13/04. If anyone here at DU who lives in Manhattan feels the same way, let's demonstrate. Here's the other thread on this issue if you want to read more.

1. Considering C-Span is the only outlet that carried the first hearing
I would prefer to demonstrate against the rest of them. Glass half full?

2. That's your perogative. Anyone else?
Actually, I would like to have protests at all the major corporate media studios but I am not ruling out C-SPAN. Any suggestions?

6. I wish I still lived there
cuz I'd be with you. Midtown would be a great place to protest, because you can hit CNN, Faux and NBC almost simultaneously. People should get out there with signs in front of the Today show window, the CNN window on 6th, maybe in Times Square at the GMA window ...

8. TODAY show in NYC has windows to the street...
and they go out in the crowd a lot, too. I think if you were in the crowd they probably would avoid showing you, but if you stood just outside the window behind where they shoot one-on-one interviews with a folded sign that you could open at opportune moments... big black letters that said something like "MEDIA BLACKOUT ON USA ELECTION FRAUD!" you *might* get away with it... ?

3. The link I posted
Was for Cnn's morning show.. let me look for c-span. I don't think they do much live coverage of news orgs.

But you could call CNN out.. with posters and protests

fox is probably just down the street

7. Fox is on 6th around 46th
NBC is Rockefeller Center, right around the corner. ABC I think is 64th & Columbus. CNN I don't know. CBS is I think W. 57th around 10th?

4. I wish I were
I'd be out there with you. I'm still angry about this. Why not demonstrate in midtown where you can rage against CNN, Fox and NBC almost simultaneously?

9. Any, Any coverage you have gotten on TV, has come from C-Span
They have covered countless hearings, panels, etc

Plus, it's the only place that lets you call in & voice your opinion.

And everything that they cover is available for you to watch on-line.

Seems to me, the MSM is who you should be protesting.

11. C-Span does the best it can with the rescources it has
It seems to me, you should appreciate the great work they're doing.

Who showed candidates in ENTIRETY during the campaign?
Who showed all of Al Gores speeches?
Who showed the protest march in NYC during the RNC, in it's entirety?
Who showed each candidate during the primaries in town halls?
Who covered the Conyers hearings in Washington?
Who has showed at several panels on voting irregularities?
Who showed the conventions gavel-to-gavel?

Should I go on?

It's silly to attack your ally...go after your enemy!
