Where is Jimmy Carter?

He spoke at the Democratic convention this year and was very harsh on Bush. He and his wife have gone to many countries to observe elections. I'd love to hear him speak up about what happened in Ohio- the press would not ignore a former president.

Dear Mr. Carter,

We need your help! Many of us are trying to make sense of the election we just had in the United States. In addition to disenfranchisement, there is the possibility of election fraud. I am 39 years old and have never been involved in politics, but I can tell you that something doesn't "feel right."

Today in Ohio Mr. Conyers, along with some other Democrats, held a meeting that was not televised. In reports coming from that meeting we learned that in Greene County where workers were making copies of records for the recount, the workers were stopped and told that the records were locked down. That night when the records were supposed to be locked down at the BOE somebody left the door open to the building, and it wasn't discovered until the next morning. This might not send up red flags if it was the only incident that occurred.

The SOS, Mr. Blackwell, seems to have stalled the whole recount process. Why would he do this if he has nothing to hide? Why won't he cooperate?

Why are exit polls used in other countries to make sure fraud didn't occur, but not in this country? Why only in the last few years have exit polls not been reliable? Why do we have companies who make the machines we vote on and count the votes contributing to one party and promising to deliver Ohio's vote to the current President of the U.S.? Are we crazy?

We need somebody to lead us out of this situation. Are you willing to help us get some answers? We (Americans) need to know that the person who takes an office in the United States is really supposed to hold that office. Please help us find out if we had a fair election.

I posted it a few days ago, and got ripped a new one.I will say it again maybe this time the DUers will admit it. It's all stacked against Kerry. Jimmy Carter said " with the republicans in control of the white house, house ,senate, courts, and local courts, secretary of state offices in Florida and OHIO , you will not see any electorial remedies". " The party in power doesn't want to change anything".
