What Eve Roberson said about the unlocked BOE
A very brief portion of her testimony today to Conyers. Note particularly that she says THEY HAD A VIDEO CAMERA and TOOK FOOTAGE of what they saw in the unlocked building.

"Mr. Chairman and members of the Board. I'm Eve Roberson. I'm also from (?) California, Santa Rosa, and I just wanted to tell you that I am a retired election official. I've conducted elections for 15 years (garbled ? all locally elected officials?). And I came here because I was so concerned about the things that I had seen documented, about the problems in Ohio. And I just want to tell you that as an election offical, it's not rocket scientist (sic). You know that you have a certain number of voters, You know you have a certain number of need for machines, and for places to go, and to park to get to your election. I mean, this is not rocket scientist (sic). How are they making it so complicated for us? You know that you need a certain number of machines, and you definitely know that you need ballots and you know it has to be honest and open.

"And I'd just like to say that there was also a serious breach of um, electronic (garbled) um, of the votes, and so on Saturday morning, we both went to the BOE and walked in, the door was unlocked on a Saturday morning. There was no one there. We saw, I saw that there were ballots there, and they were, looked to me like they were in locked boxes. There was no one around, so we did go out. We were shocked. WE VIDEOTAPED IT, we have a videotape for your review.

Conyers: Thank you"

11. Cool
I just see "revote" being thrown around here a lot and particularly with the confusion of their actually being some local revotes this year I wasn't sure if everyone knew the score.

2. Well that's good
I must say she doesn't testify well--rather scattered. I wish she had detailed what happened and kept it organized. People need to learn to write down what they plan to say--or at least write up an outline before testifying. The lawyers could do a better job of coaching them.

3. True, but she did say
that their affidavits or testimony was up on their website (but she didn't cite a URL).

9. They are dog tired...
I heard the other 'partner in crime' Joan Quinn talk of the episode on Christine Craft's Sacramento radio show 'Talk City' Friday afternoon; clear, concise, and very tight story. I heard Joan again this afternoon and she sounded awful - just trashed and exhausted. Believe me, Joan and Eve's affadavits are tight, and that's what really counts. Oh, Joan says they got tight video of the boxes showing all the pertinent serial/precint numbers on the seals for future reference during the recount. They are more together than it appears.

5. I thought
that part of the seriousness of the allegation was that the ballots were out in the open... Here she says they were in locked boxes? Am I confused?
