NAACP joins effort in Ohio

The NAACP National Voter Fund joins in solidarity with CASE, the Free Press, National Voting Rights Institute, and many other groups as we seek a recount of all the votes cast on November 2, 2004 in the state of Ohio; something that never happened in Florida 4 years ago. By almost all independent accounts, had the 2000 Florida recount not been
halted by the US Supreme Court in December of 2000, it would have led to the election and inauguration of Vice President Al Gore as president.

I hope they put the whole force and weight of their organization behind investigating this tainted election.

I can't even look at my Republican friends without wondering if they realize the depths that their once honorable party has sunk to. (Well, at least as honorable as any political organization can be :eyes: )

7. I am glad to see the NAACP join in on the fight but this is just as much

our fight to win as it is theirs, so we must begin to feel as they do, we must put ourselves in the shoes of those who have been pushed around to many times when it comes to the rights they are guaranteed or should be given to them, when those who are oppressed the most are granted the protection of their country then we can be certain what remains of the citizens will be protected as well. We must fight as they have and will continue to because they are our brothers and sisters so therefore it is our duty as Americans which must lead us to it.
