First, they REALLY ignored us... |
|
We were walking around like ghosts! Even our friends and families couldn't hear us when we talked about fraud. We were desperate to get ANY mention of it, anywhere. We were so completely, impossibly ignored that we thought we might be nuts.
But now, they're REALLY laughing at us, with the same intensity, with all the drums and horns and whistles and pantooclers they have at their disposal. They're sending out the Uberclowns, their hyperfunded Superheroes of Derision, their Magnum Cum Loudies. "Heh heh: we'll just see how they like it when they've been HANNITIZED!"
They laugh so hard and so loud that we are really only there, on their shows or in their precious little circle of attention, to be laughed at. No need for us to reply; after all, we're utterly laughable.
So next we expect not that they will fight, but that they will REALLY fight. But there's something that we shouldn't forget about bullies: their power rests mainly on their bluster.
Once the bluster is used up and it gets to the actual fighting part, the balance of resources is usually nothing like the lopsided matter the prior noise might have suggested.
And besides, all we want to do is count the votes.
The Arnebeck contest is very well written. There will be a recount. This fight is far from over. We've got one more of Mr. Gandhi's stages to go through yet.

You inspire again. I agree, the pugs are just a bunch of bullies, all big talk and NOTHING to back it up with. When the evidence comes to light, watch them scatter like a bunch of cockroaches in the Officer's Club kitchen.

15. Blessings to the all knowing Mr. Gandi |

And then we win!
As I see it, the Republicans have been safely tucked into a lovely slumber. They are supremely sure that ALL IS WELL and BUSH is their SAVIOR IN CHIEF.
As I see it, the Democrats are so disheartened from the election that they are acting like an abused spouse, " Oh, it must have been my fault, if only I had been more loving, done more work, had 2 children instead of one etc. etc."
Most Democrats are so sure they have lost that in their minds, WINNING is out of the question.
WAKE UP DEMOCRATS!
It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings and she has laryngitis!!

We knew this was coming. It should not be a surprise at all. Remember when everyone was raising hell about Kerry not doing anything and we kept telling them just because he wasn't in the spotlight didn't mean he had just quit and rolled over and died? Well when we was telling people this we also explained the more Kerry appeared to be involved there would be all the spin, jokes, and making us sound like we were a bunch of sore losers.
Well Kerry joined the recount in Delaware County and it went from total silence to the pay a little attention to the issue. But low and behold when he sent that letter to the 88 counties with all the demands they have picked up speed and starting to get more arrogant and nasty.
Hell this is just the volcano smoldering right now when Kerry makes another move it will either smolder to the point it is at the edge of blowing or it may even blow to the sky depends on how bold of a move Kerry makes next. But this is the very thing we have tried to explain to so many around here as to why Kerry hasn't come running out in the spotlight with his guns a blazing. The more this man move and it is obvious that he is involved the more it will stir the wingnuts and they will be running around with their tail tuck between their legs trying to cover their asses. And the dirtier the fight will become.
That is why Kerry has stayed out of the spotlight as much as possible. As long as the wingnuts thought it was the Glibs or Nadar doing it they could give a shit less because they felt they had nothing to worry about. Hell they couldn't change the election in their favor and Kerry wasn't a part of it so these people were just fools in the wingnuts eyes. Of course as we have always said in the end the joke won't be on the Glibs or Kerry it will be there dumbasses. Because they are the ones that fell asleep at the wheel this time and there car is at the edge of the cliff already.
As far as the voter fraud goes the wingnuts wasn't worried about the Glibs in that respect either. Why? Because they felt these people wouldn't have the funds or resources to investigate it and get to the truth. And again they thought Kerry was being a good little man minding his own business because Kerry didn't believe it and he had moved on. It was just a bunch of conspiricy nuts on the internet fueling the fire. YEAH RIGHT LOL! They still asleep at the the wheel and now the front wheels of the car are over the cliff. Now they have woke up scared shitless and fighting for their life.
The more Kerry makes a move the more they realize they are in deep shit LOL! So again Kerry makes a move this gets nastier. Kerry makes that final move and that damn car will go off the cliff and their asses are goners!

do us all a great service. I'll wait and hope this is the case. Thanks.

24. Yes, I loved that post--just the one to end up with tonight... |
|
I'd like to add, that Kerry well knows the reactions he'll stir up. The guy has been in the media since 1971...
and yes, those guys are certainly a big bunch of bullies. and when you call a bully out, they usually don't have what it takes to fight.
last time, with Gore, we all sat down and just took it. I fervently hope that this time we won't! Kerry's the man to fight this thing through, if it can be fought at all. Either way he wins: he wins the presidency, or he becomes the Champion of Election Reform in this country, to add to his long list of accomplishments.

That the Washington Post is finally awakening from its WH-induced coma. Even the article's headline is skeptical of the official explanations. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A64737-2004Dec14.htmlSeveral Factors Contributed to 'Lost' Voters in Ohio...."In northeastern Ohio, in the fading industrial city of Youngstown, Jeanne White, a veteran voter and manager at the Buckeye Review, an African American newspaper, stepped into the booth, pushed the button for Kerry -- and watched her vote jump to the Bush column. "I saw what happened; I started screaming: 'They're cheating again and they're starting early!'
"It was not her imagination. Twenty-five machines in Youngstown experienced what election officials called "calibration problems." "It happens every election," said Thomas McCabe, deputy director of elections for Mahoning County, which includes Youngstown. "It's something we have to live with, and we can fix it."
As expected, there were more provisional ballots, and officials disqualified about 23 percent. In Hamilton County, which encompasses Cincinnati and its Ohio suburbs, 1,110 provisional ballots got tossed out because people voted in the wrong precinct. In about 40 percent of those cases, voters found the right polling place -- which contained multiple precincts -- but workers directed them to the wrong table.
In Cleveland, officials disqualified about one-third of the provisional ballots. Vu, the election board chief, said that some poll workers may have also mixed up their punch-card styluses -- that would account for why a few overwhelmingly Democratic precincts recorded large numbers of votes for conservative third-party candidates....."
