Bev fans: All we want is one example of Volusia County Fraud
Edited on Wed Dec-15-04 01:58 AM by FullCountNotRecount
Just one computer tape that she found in the trash behind the election office that caused all kinds of people to give money to her to find further fraud...that is not an unreasonable request.

Then I will apologize profusely and give money...and I am underemployed barely paying the rent...and Christmas is next week.

Just a small scanned photo...

1. I request this as well
Because I am in the same financial situation, and on top of that I have driven thousands of people to the BBV website and I have gotten every single person I know to contribute money to them as well. Being new to this, It looked like Bev had the best initial post election effort but now I doubt it.

16. I'm glad I'm the only person in my family who contributed.
I would be embarrassed to have talked them into spending what little money they have on an organization that is behaving so badly. I've followed BBV's progress since January, and there for a while, I thought they might be onto something. The wheels have come off in a big way now, and I won't support them further, either through donations or talking them up to family and friends. If I could get my money back, I would.

2. To keep up the spirits of a disheartened fellow dem
I met at the food coop I told her about the (then latebreaking) Volusia county fraud story. I feel like an ass for getting that woman's hopes up for nothing. A few scans or the damned video would be enough to prove I wasn't a gullible fool spreading a false story. I really don't think it's too much to ask.

PS As a polling place worker I have an idea of what the tape should look like but I suspect it would be pretty easy to fake one. Release the damned video, or at least a reasonable portion of it. Seriously, it's put up or shut up time, kids. I suspect you're bluffing.

3. on the BBV site last week
I offered to seed a bit torrent of any video that she whats to put out there. A torrent spreads a file like wildfire with very little bandwidth needed. She replied to the thread stating that she needed a hack proof web site with high bandwidth to host it. If she really wanted it out there she would have let me distribute it.

18. That sounded like a cop out.
"She replied to the thread stating that she needed a hack proof web site with high bandwidth to host it."
What did that statement have to do with the price of bananas? Does she even know what a bit torrent is? You can also use p2p to spread the file, hackers would have to hack everyones computer who hosted the file to stop it from spreading.

4. do you want your money back?
I am "under" employed as well. I already gave money, and I don't want it back.

I also don't demand performance, or proof of success before supporting a cause.

Have you donated or not?

I am not a Bev Harris fan. I just really really hate Bush, and it is preposterous that what began as complaints about this woman's personality problems and control issues is becoming a groundless whispering campaign of fraud and embezzlement. It's happening right now in front of your own eyes!

Rove's boys are working us over.

6. How do you feel
when you talk to people who have difficulty imagining a Presidential election could be stolen? It is very difficult to believe in this modern age.

What brought you to DU? Do you believe the election stolen?

12. She talks a lot about a Qui Tam.
Do you suppose she's dealing with litigation that's trying to gag her? That's common practice in Florida. There are environmentalist that I know that have been gagged.

15. No, the Qui Tam was filed by BBV
and relates to the touch screen machines Diebold sold to Alameda county (that's Oakland and the surrounding area, FYI) California. The state of CA and Diebold are trying to settle but she says shewants the case to move forward because they'll get a lot of good info out of Diebold in discovery.

17. If Bev is willing to go to discovery with Diebold, instead of
settling, that would be evidence enough for me that her heart is in the right place. Do you know how much money these people are willing to pay to keep their secrets locked up in a confidentiality clause? Lots. My state has a law forbidding governmental bodies from entering into them because secrecy is not in the best interest of the public, but they do it any way.

Meanwhile, the FBI watches it all with both hands on their johnnies.
