Ha. ha, they sent Scarborough out to fight this?
Edited on Wed Dec-15-04 05:57 PM by RaulVB
Be happy guys!

We are almost there. The WaPo piece and the NYT article have sent the issue to the "Political atmosphere" at light speed.

A major blast is coming and Bush's regime will at the receiving end of it.

Anybody wants "to get over it" now?

You think this election is over?

Are you planning for 2006 and 2008?

Well, BIG MISTAKE IF YOU ARE!

Stay tunned...

2. Joe Scarborough
He was a Florida Republican Congressman that wrote a piece on his MSNBC website today, attacking the WaPo for writing an article on the OHIO fraud.

He wouldn't be doing that if not asked by someone "very high up there..."

11. Thanks. I thought so, but I hadn't had time
to dig into those articles. I didn't know anything about Slimeborough's antics, though.

3. The Washington Post and NYT had articles today on Ohio
Edited on Wed Dec-15-04 06:06 PM by rockedthevoteinMA
The times had an article about the woman who witnessed the Triad tech messing with the machine http://www.nytimes.com/2004/12/15/politics/15ohio.html?ei=5006&en=486fa0c24857591a&ex=1103691600%02%22ner=ALTAVISTA1&pagewanted=print&position=

And the post had a front page 41 paragraph article about all the voting "irregularities" - it didn't really cover the election fraud, it more focused on disenfranchisement (which IMO is election fraud)
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A64737-2004Dec14?language=printer

Then on Lester Holt live they had a segment on "Voter Fraud" where Slimeborough tried to argue that the articles in both papers were based on Conspiracy Theories.

William Pitt had an excellent article at www.truthout.org

(There's a lot more -but that's the best I can do) :hi:

12. Thanks, I hadn't heard anything about
Slimeborough on Lester Holt, and I don't get MSNBC. I had heard a little about the witness to the voting machine tampering. This helps alot.

8. Well, ol' Joe DOES know how to make certain "problems" disappear!
(ahem)
But, seriously? I thought he was off his own show because of a bad back! I wonder when they'll rename it "Buchanan Country" since ol' Pat has been running the show since the election!

9. Who is they?
From the little I've seen, Scarborough goes after Bush all the time. Further, his fill in, Pat Buchanan clearly dislikes almost everything the neocon laden Bush administration does. I believe Scarborough's last piece actually positively referenced Krugman, and blasted Jr's Social Security privatization plan.

If Scarborough is attacking the vote fraud people, then he is doing it on his own. As repuslive as he typically is, he appears, at least to me, to be his own man.

I don't believe there is any "they" secretly pulling all the strings. Sort of the like the media lockdown notion that some folks run around screaming about. There is no media lockdown and there never was one. The MSN just wasn't/isn't interested in the story because they didn't/don't believe Kerry can win no matter what is discovered in Ohio or anywhere else. There is no "they" telling the media what they can or can't say.

10. 'They' is
The Rovian Conspirators.

Same as it ever was, much, I am guessing, to your dismay, Imajika; the M$M is told what to say by the Rovian Conspirators.

What? You don't believe Rove is conspiring to make his story, our history?

13. They. I have to admit I haven't watched Scarborouh much lately
....I mean EVER.... but I guess you don't either, or I've missed something. He has more fairness and balance if you use Bill O'Leilly as your yardstick (who it sounds like was attacking Air America today), but OTW he's just another neocon.

16. that's what Nadar thinks too
He said in an interview that the media would get interested if it becomes a Republican vs. Democrat story, but not if it just involves the small parties and "nobodies" complaining. So if Kerry steps in in a major way, the media will open it up. I'm sure he realizes this too--.

20. Scarborough is on his own alright,
but only because the Right-wing doesn't want him.

Scarborough is exactly like the Freepers that post on the political board that I've been writing on for a year now. They bitch about Bush, but only when it's safe too and only if they are going for the "more Conservative than Bush" angle.

They're only disgusted because they want this country to move farther Right than even Bush. I don't find that a positive quality.

21. I do agree for the most part
that Joe Scarborough is his own man. But that doesn't mean I agree with his opinions all the time. I think that after the election, he became more cocky, IMO. Pat Buchanan is an interesting case. He has been a critic of the Iraq war, yet he agrees with the union of church & state. But then again, I suppose a real Christian would oppose the war, anyway. So kudos to him for that.

stoned while staring at their groovy UFO posters???

If this is the best they can do...I won't be surprised.
