Will I get beat about the head and shoulders if I request a recap?
I left for NYC Friday followed by a whirlwind (and utterly horrible) two days at Disney World. So I've been disconnected from both the internet and the world for six days. Can anyone summarize any progress or lack thereof? I'm feeling very discouraged and betrayed after my apparent success with a newspaper editor which ultimately resulted in not a fucking thing. I don't have the heart or the energy to wade through the pages. Anyone feel up to providing me with the Cliff Note version?

Many thanks in advance!

On a side note, hearing Gloria Steinem refer to Bush as a "mental defect of a president" followed by a rousing ovation from 500 people was quite the rush. She certainly wouldn't have gotten a similar reception where I live. She is a beautiful woman and a gracious person. I feel so privileged to have met her even if it was for all of 5-10 minutes.
