I had a computer crash Monday afternoon, completely lost Internet Explorer, and had major DU withdrawl. I'm waiting for a browser update from AT&T, but decided to do a "system restore," since I couldn't stand NOT knowing what was happening!

From what I saw on Monday (and previously), there was a lot of Bi-Polar posting going on. Mostly manic, then MAJOR despair when the events of the day did not go "according to plan."

Anyone got a link on what happened with Bev? I got 2 days to catch up on...

5. Do yourself a favor, don't use IE - use netscape or firefox

there are free downloads available. I switched 3 weeks ago and haven't had the computer problems that were plaguing me for months. (Weird trojans were attaching to my computer not from emails, but websites! It was very, very creepy! :freak:)

Used to use Netscape, but have switched over. LOVE it! It's a great feeling to stop those *&#^@ pop-up ads! Plus, the layout is so functional and easy to customize. My kids love IE (which I refuse to use), but they are so intrigued with Firefox that they've downloaded it themselves.

I hear you about all of the weirdness coming out of websites and onto our computers. I run Ad-Aware every day and clear out all of the garbage that I find. It also helps me track down the sites that mess came from, too.
