Does EDWARDS have legal standing to step at this point? |
|
Kerry could very well be doing lots behind the scenes which we don't know about, but...
...if he really has given up and is waiting for 2008 - can we draft Edwards in his place now?
Rumor has it they rowed over concession - Edwards wasn't ready to give up.

for one thing you would be disenfranchising the people who voted for John Kerry. John Kerry was the Democratic nominee for president in 2004--not John Edwards. It was Kerry not Edwards that people were voting for on Nov. 2 (at least technically)for president.

A couple of questions. When I first heard about the 1 vote for Edwards in the Electoral College, I wondered if this was somehow a protest vote. Did the voter intentionally want to send a message that Edwards was willing to stay and fight, and was therefore more deserving of his vote than Kerry. For that reason, I question whether it was in fact the "mistake" that MSM might lead you to believe. And of course, the MSM has kind of glossed over this whole incident anyways...but it really is quite curious when you think about it.
My next question is does Edwards now being given a vote in the Electoral College process, provide him with more of an opportunity to step forward in the recount or appeal process? With that single vote, is he now in league with Shrub & Kerry, as the only individuals with footing in the electoral college?

2. Fight to the end, or no 2008! |
|
We know Al Gore will follow through, so he WOULD have some chance in 2008!
No way in hell those guys who gave up and let the election be stolen without any stirring fight for justice, no you fight injustice everytime, or you never get nominated again!:grr:

8. Fight to the end, or no 2006, either |

We dont have any other choice but to do all that we can now. Any and ALL elections will go this way. IT just surprises me that these Senators dont get the whole picture, especially where their jobs are at stake, too.
