1. It is so sad that people sell out for the
almighty dollar. Sometimes, frankly, I wonder what my price would be.

2. Okay, this is a bold face lie by Damschroder, surprise surprise
"Damschroder said technicians hired to repair and deliver machines on Election Day indicated they had tried to deliver all of the machines. In some cases, the polls were closed or workers said they weren't needed, Damschroder said."

No way, No how! Poll workers were turning machines away on election day? Rethug poll workers perhaps?

3. The squeeze is now on "the worker bees".
The carrot and stick approach to be applied on who will crack under all of the pressure and start to talk. Pretty sure this will show up on a Law & Order episode next season!

4. You gotta be kidding me. Wasn't there a lawsuit on 11/2 about long lines?
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 11:47 AM by Verve
Didn't a judge have to make an emergency decision to help out these voters in line?

I find it laughable, that he can say machines were turned away when this was occuring. And polls were closed? What time did they try to deliver them? Midnight?

5. Well they called everyone to tell them to vote on the 3rd.
Maybe that is what he is talking about

6. I thought they were begging for these machines BEFORE November 2
and being told they weren't available, and those that were available were distributed in greater numbers to the Repub districts.

I knew Damshroder was a liar the first time he opened his mouth about the machines. Something just didn't fit.

7. I bet there is no video of his fictional deliveries, unlike the
very real footage of people waiting for hours to vote.

8. And as usual, the dems
give a weakass response like "oh well, shit happens".
