Don't know much prior to November about DU's past with Bev, but lord knows there has been enough history in posts the last couple weeks about it. Seems like DU was really the entire catalyst for her from what I can gather.

I can't talk to the past, but I can definitely talk for the parts I did directly witness, and for those parts I agree. I haven't seen her do squat. I hear about all these investigations but have yet to see the real fruit of any, other than being used for her self-serving promotional ego purposes. The whole volusia thing left such a bad taste in my mouth it ain't even funny. At the time, I had still thought she was someone we could trust. I thought for sure the next day that video and the corresponding poll tapes would be breaking everywhere with copies of both sent to dozens of media outlets. But that never happened. It STILL hasn't friggin happened. Ahhhhh, shit, I could go off another hour on how much she has pissed me off these last few weeks with her actions, but I'll spare you.

But what she did to Andy was just pathetic and EXTREMELY unprofessional.

Court approves Diebold settlement with California

Associated Press


NORTH CANTON, Ohio - A court Friday approved Diebold Inc.'s settlement with California and its Alameda County in their lawsuit accusing the company of selling them shoddy electronic voting equipment.

Diebold and California officials in November disclosed terms of the $2.6 million settlement. Of that, $100,000 goes to Alameda County and $500,000 must be used for voter education and poll worker training coordinated through the University of California Institute of Governmental Studies.
