Please DU this Washington State poll
http://www.king5.com/

It asks if the newly discovered ballots in King County should be counted. King County is heavily democratic. The ballots were not properly processed the first time, so they were never counted. Republicans are (of course) going to court to keep them out. It looks like freepers are all over this poll.

You will probably have to register, but it just takes a minute. Thanks.

2. Am I the only one who is astounded that it's an issue?
It just boggles my mind to know they are even asking if votes should be counted. Someone suing so that votes don't get counted is disgusting.

3. Where is the poll? I don't see it on the home page..
I didn't have to register. If you ever want access to a news site that requires registration log onto <http://www.bugmenot.com> and type in the URL of the site. It will give username and password you can use without sharing your personal info!

9. Look for 'Survey'.
It is under the text of the story about the recount. It starts with the word, 'Survey'.

14. Not sure about this. Maybe you have to register separately.

The vote applet states that "you can vote as many times as you want, but it will only be counted once."

If you use the bugmenot id, maybe votes aren't being counted.

Can anyone verify?

The Freepers are hitting this one hard, its 2-1 for NO (dont count King County.) (1051 YES/Count, 1991 NO, dont)

Can we get a thousand votes more for YES?

Plus please add your comment when you vote. The freeps are making us Washingtonians look like fascists on this poll.

Quote:
It would appear that many of these ballots were disqualified for good reason. Mostly that the voters failed to follow simple instructions. Why should we make special allowences for people who are simply to stupid to vote. It should be embarassing to the democratic party that we can only win by depending on the incompetent of society.

Nice, huh?

can't spell?

"Why should we make special allowEnces for people who are simply to stupid to vote."

7. I voted --
How hard have the Republicans been working to convince people that the cost of the recount will break the state budget? How much will it work to be per person? In Ohio it will work out to 13 cents per person. That would be an interesting stat to put in the comment box when you take the poll.

I tried to do it, but they required registration and then repeatedly didn't accept my registration--but no explanation was given. Puzzling.

18. It is depressing as heck
to read all the posts of the freepers out there that I can't beleive any American would say this, DON'T WANT TO COUNT ALL THE VOTES! Are these the same soccer (insert sport here) mom's and dad's that scream and yell at kid's games and tell their kid's to play dirty, and complain about everything the other team does? I am so sick and tired of these "moral values"
:P
