Deja vu, no recount for you... |
|
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 11:19 PM by TruthIsAll
The Repuke tradition:
1. FL 2004 Dade County Riot- "Stop the recount or we'll **** you up". 2. James Baker- "We've counted and counted and recounted the votes" 3. Katherine Harris- "No time left. I must certify". 4. Judge Sauls- "No recount, you haven't proved Gore will gain". 5. Scalia-"Stop the recount or we might find that Bush really lost". 6. Ohio 2004 - "Can't recount, bad case law. Try again"

1. What I don't get is this |

The "blue" states are the ones that are so productive that the bulk of taxes comes from them. But we Dems can't break through the Repuke machine. It's got a stranglehold on us. I guess we'll have to have a draft before we sever their grip.

2. What can I say, you are right as usual. |
|
The only other tradition that I see in this is not a single Democratic Senator or Congressperson has stood up and said, "I respectfully CONTEST the election of * ." Not one.
If this .000 batting average continues through January 6, I hope no one minds my switch to the Green Party.

5. Do what you feel is necessary, Chasing Dreams |

It's just odd that so many Dems are willing to give up and go to the Greens instead of remaining in the party and firing all of the incompetent leaders.

3. Re: Number 6, check out this DU thread (we still have much hope) |

Arnebeck was merely executing a brilliant maneuver to call out Thomas Moyers, trying to get him to recuse himself. Before it's over, Moyers may well end up not hearing the case. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x168686
