Should Congress contest the presidential election ? ACT NOW !
My dad just sent me this link

http://69.9.171.129/contest.html

Should Congress contest the presidential election based on problems in Ohio?

Why don't you tell Congress where you stand? Here, we'll make it easy for you. All you have to do is fill in one form now and with one click we will send your personal message to both of your senators, your house representative and the minority House Judiciary Committee too. We'll even look them up based on your address and tell you who they are. And at the same time we will format an invitation you can send to the email addresses of everyone else you know with just one additional easy click. Just a few simple words from you mean more than any form letter can. Please read the question carefully to make sure your vote matches your comments. There have been allegations of ballot counting fraud and a systematic pattern of vote suppression, leading to the call for a recount in the state of Ohio. Should Congress put election officials on notice now? If you think we should not complain and just get over it, vote "No", otherwise if you believe Congress should dispute the result as long as these questions are not resolved, then vote "Yes". Even if you don't think your particular representatives would agree with your position it is important for them to hear from you. 5. What do you think?....
My comment -

Six weeks after the election, and the evidence we have accumulated is like Florida2004, X10. Thousands of ballots were rejected unfairly, and thousands of people never even got to cast their vote. I urge you to investigate for yourself, but you may have to look very hard, as the Media has failed their audience by not reporting this situation. I hope you will give this your urgent attention, the reports of irregularities require it. The people will remember who was on their side in this fight. As for myself, if my elected officials choose to ignore, ridicule and discount my vote, my neighbors vote, ANY American's vote, then I, and the people who have elected those officials will choose not to re-elect them. Regardless of the outcome of this contested election cycle, we will not just "get over it" and move on. We will continue to speak up, and we will reform the election system. Our Democracy will not be taken from us without a fight.

9. "Without a fight"
Is exactly why we have been hit twice and to elect or re-elect may never again be a choice! The democratic rights of both choice and voice are on the verge of being destroyed. People do exist under other types of rule but we have to understand what that means before we will ever say "NO DAMN WAY"!

8. Done and here are the comments I added...
I view 6 Jan 2005 as the day we should begin the largest, real-time 'civics class' in the history of our democracy -- in fact, in the history of any democracy.

It is the day that hopefully we will see a significant number of members of both the HR and Senate rise together, in the US Senate, and challenge the election. What happens after that, when the process moves to the 'house of the people' -- the House of Representatives -- should be about much more than Bush or Kerry.

I argue that it cannot be about either of them 'winning' because we have had a failed election. I hope that that will be Senator Kerry's main message and that he and other Senators and members of the HR will fight for a re-vote.

We must have an outcome from this election that forever stands as a moment of affirmation of the full scope of our Constitution. We must convert this systematic attempt to disenfranchise our fellow citizens into a transformational event -- a re-vote using methods that ensures every eligible citizen equitable access to vote and to verification that their vote was counted as they intended.

It is a totally unacceptable outcome to move on, business as usual, because the outcome will be an inauguration on 20 Jan 2005 that symbolizes the death of democracy in America; that enshrines the willful disregard of core of our Constitution -- "We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice,...."
