2. If you have a modem, you can probably fax from your machine

for example, its one of the choices on my "print" menu, so any windoze application can fax out.

3. I don't have a modem in my machine

but could install one easily enough. I just wanted to do something quickly a few nights ago and had no fax!! x(

5. Good clue... it happens that just yesterday,

my husband wanted to send a PERSONAL email to a Senator, as my father-in-law was a long-time friend of the Senator and just passed away.

He wanted to KNOW that she recieved it PERSONALLY, so he called her office, and was told that he should FAX it. They get so many thousands of emails, staffers handle them, but FAXES are a more typical way for important communications to be recieved, so are read carefully.

6. That's EXACTLY why I needed it!

Faxes are so rarely used anymore that faxes tend to get more attention. They are usually stationed right beside someone's desk.

7. My thinking is that when senators, congess people, etc., send one another

communications, they do it by FAX, not email. It's a little more 'official'.

they do not have email at that office, but I called and spoke to the secretary and she said fax in request in regards to the Triad tech's CHEAT SHEET AS FAR AS WE NEED TO MAKE THIS IS AN ISSUE!!!!
