Ohio - "Alone and In the Dark"...
Posted by : DavidSwanson on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 02:51 PM
From ILCA Board and Staff Ohio - Alone and In the Dark
Gary Polvinale, Sandusky, Ohio

-snip-
But we here in Ohio need more than a "You can do it" pat on the back. We ARE doing it. But nobody knows. Ohio is screaming the truth at the top of its lungs, literally, and no one hears us because of all the noise of the media silence.

If you want to do something, here's what you can do to help. I am asking the rest of the country to please get out there and find well-known people whose voices are loud enough to be heard by the press who will stand up for us. Get a Senator or a media personality or anyone of very high profile to come out about this. The media blackout is killing us.

Very few members of Congress, and no one in the Democratic Party has even seriously acknowledged the recount. This is still looked at as the "sour grapes" effort of a couple of disgruntled 3rd party candidates who can't win anyway. It couldn't be further from that.

2. Texas is even more alone, look what's happening here...
....three Repubs lost state house races so they are demanding 'do-overs" in the GOP controlled State Legislature. And hardly anyone in Texas seems to care, much less anyone in the rest of the nation. Election fraud is massive in its scale. It is affecting almost everyone who lives in a "blue" state and some who live in "red" states either directly or indirectly.

3. don't rely on "well-known" people
"please get out there and find well-known people whose voices are loud enough to be heard by the press who will stand up for us"

statements like this sound weak. we have to stand up for ourselves - we have the means to do it and we have to stop waiting for someone else to act on our behalf.

4. I agree! That's what this whole thing with 'waiting for Kerry' to respond
has taught us all hopefully. We're learning the kind of grassroots movement that Howard Dean was trying to teach us...even before the Election.

To wait for support where little exists right now in "higher places" in our country, is kind of like "Waiting for Godot!"

5. I wrote this letter...
Maybe we could send similar letters to George Soros or some other like minded big money progressives?

Mr. Larry Flynt
Flynt Publications

Beverly Hills, CA 90211

December 21, 2004

Dear Mr. Flynt,

You are a personal hero of mine. Not only are you one of America’s greatest advocates of Free Speech, the reward you offered for evidence of extra-marital affairs by members of Congress (revealing their hypocrisy) saved the Clinton Presidency. I am writing to you because I believe that there is once again an opportunity where your intervention could possibly make a huge difference.

As I am sure you are well aware, there are ongoing allegations that there was electronic voter fraud in the last election. Most disturbing is the fact that the exit polls so poorly correlated to the final election results (much of which was tabulated by un-auditable electronic voting machines). Although exit polling is not 100% reliable, the odds of President Bush gaining a large advantage over every exit poll in key swing states is an extremely improbable coincidence. While Congressman Conyers (and others) are doing their best to investigate this matter, they have yet to find concrete evidence of fraud.

It is said that if you want to catch a rat, you need some cheese. In this case the cheese could be a very large cash reward offered by you to anyone who comes forward with unequivocal evidence that systematic electronic election fraud did take place. Although there is no guarantee that such a reward would produce results, it would at the very least raise media attention to the matter.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. Keep up the great work!

Sincerely,

ME!

6. I am going to copy the video from protection election tonight...
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 09:15 PM by Niche
several copies will be sent to people in other states I know and at least get the suppression issue out to people who are not aware... hopefully they will pass it on. My Rep stepmother after seeing 911 changed her vote and she lives in white sub of Cleveland Ohio... so I will start that tonight. It's a start. Also know some mad Union folks in Las Vegas who would love to see something... visuals are good they make people know it happened. Hope to send out tomorrow.

Edit to include: maybe this will get people to listen about the recount too... 'cause emails about recount are falling on deafened readers.

10. I hear you , we are trying
I recently spoke with someone in Ohio and asked if the recount was getting print in Ohio, he said yeah in the Columbus Dispatch. I told him we have seen little to no coverage here. He was shocked. Then I asked him if he knew what was happening in Florida, in Volusia county or in New Mexico etc. He was totally unaware of anything in other states but he was highly interested. I gave him a couple of key websites and he was anxious to get off the phone so he could look them up.

I have an email group that has been sending letters like crazy to whomever needs it the most that day. We have emailed Blackwell and others in your state.

For whatever reason big names, besides Jesse are hanging back, it is too coincidental to not be coordinated in some way. I feel they are telling us that we the people and nobody else have the power to change this, but it won't change if we just watch, democracy has to be a hands on deal.

We are trying to get the word out and keep the pressure on. Hang in there! The only way this will go away is if we all walk away.
