Political gain vs. Our rights
bottom line the reason Edwards and Kerry aren't out there on the front lines fighting for us is because they don't want to risk their political careers for a losing battle...

However

The American revolution started off as a losing battle...
The Civil War started off as a losing battle for the Union...
WWII was a losing battle against the odds...
Civil rights was a losing battle....

The difference in all those losing battles was integrity and leadership, Washington, Lincoln, FDR, and Dr. King, they were fighting their losing battles out of a fundamental belief in justice and our constitution. We Don't have that.

I'm calling Kerry and Edwards out. I know they are being strategic, and up until this point i supported it, but right now the movement needs them regardless of the eventual outcome.

I will no longer excuse Kerry or Edwards, i will not justify their self serving ways. We need selfless people to be our leaders, we need people that care about our rights, Kerry and Edwards have shown me they aren't those people. Please i beg of them to prove me wrong.

but i just want there to be an honest discussion as to why our supposed leaders arent stepping up to the plate, becaue it isnt a good bet and because they are concerened with their own well being not that of the nation.

6. too late
is even more important
one could take the timing argument and suggest that things are timed so it only looks like a sincere effort is being made...

actions always speak louder than words.
