WE still have our integrity, we know WE did the right thing, now
the country is gonna get what it asked for. I was devastated earlier, but I'm proud of myself, and all of us who took our principles and moral values and conscience with us behind the curtain, and voted for the best man for the job.

We maintained our integrity. And as we reflect on what just happened, take solace in knowing we are fighting the good fight for ALL Americans, even though half of our country was fighting against us. Our goal is to lift up our fellow man, their goal is to trample on him.

We have won! We won because we didn't put our love for the country and our values and common-sense aside to vote...and they HAD TO.

Here for continuing fight,

Jason

1. yeah, I mean, I'm looking at it this way...
there is only so much you can do.

Now it's up to Bush and the Republicans. It's all on their shoulders now. You know they will fuck it up, and you know that it will get harder and harder to blame Clinton.

There will be a lot of suffering, but all we can do is try harder.

4. I hope there will be a lot of suffering.
Some people don't learn except by experience.

America can use a shitload of humility.

5. Sometimes you gotta touch the flame and get burned
before you learn. Sometimes I guess you gotta shove your whole hand into it.

I am not going to slap myself around for it.

I gave money I could ill afford, time, energy, all I could.

12. Historically, we've always learned things the hard way...Nixon and Reagan
are two examples

3. Integrity! Here's to continuing the fight!
I told my husband of twenty years earlier that many DUers were literally crying today (including me). I told him we DUers have heart. And he knows that. He stated that Democrats such as ourselves care about Others.

8. In no way should my post be considered defeatist. I'm drawing
a disctinction between how we made our choice.
