Everyone who donated to Kerry's recount fund or the DNC
Have you written or called and told them you will never give them another penny unless they use some of that money to seriously assist in the legal activities of the parties that have things already in motion?

I gave what I had to Dean so cannot read them the riot act.

All those fat cats at the top of the ladder should know their positions are going to wither and die. Of course they'll just turn into lobbists or CEO's but, it's worth a try.

4. This was my rant on 12/10/04: all I got back was another request for $$
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=1421840&mesg_id=1421840

Sorry, Terry, you get no more dollars from me. I'll give my dollars in the future directly to the candidates I chose to support, or to organizations like Emily"s List, that I can trust. As for funding the recounts, I've sent my money to David Cobb and to HelpAmericaRecount. These are the people who have had the courage to speak out, and to do something, while the DNC has sat cowering on itWk@P. John Kerry lost time for the recount in Ohio because the judge threw out the request for expediting it: "no irreparable harm". He's only "joined" the effort: what if Ohio drags out the recount, too?
I've been working on the election fraud since November 3rd: You're a tad late, to say the least. You didn't immediately offer money to help the Washington state recount, or in Louisiana, or in Ohio. You didn't help them find volunteers. WE did it, until finally you woke up and decided you'd better CLAIM you were helping all along? What a crock! The train done gone, and you are still sitting at the station.

You haven't mobilized people to go to earlier fraud protests, much less help organize them, and I doubt you have done anything about the protests this weekend, including the one at Lafayette Park on 12/12/04 at noon. WE'VE done that. Perhaps you might, just might, try to get Democrats to that protest and others around the country this weekend? After all, you have all those databases that WE paid for. Perhaps you might even attend one yourself? Give me one, just one, reason why I should give you any more of my money?
Where have you been on getting word into the national media about the fraudulent election? You surely have some resources to do effective PR work? Why this collective silence? Do you think the Republicans would be silent were the situation reversed? In fact, they've already started their campaign to claim Democrats tried to steal the election. WHERE ARE YOU GUYS? The FBI is investing East St. Louis Democrats, not Ken Blackwell or Jeb Bush. The Republicans, let by Feeney, are claiming 50, yes 50, dirty tricks before the election against them, while there are thousands of documented dirty tricks by them. They are scouring registrations looking for double voters, while there are thousands of people who couldn't vote due to registration dirty tricks. Haven't you learned ANYTHING about controlling the message? Why isn't every Democratic official pointing to the problems every chance they get? Or are you just planning to let Rep. Conyers and the others hang out there by themselves? Is that what the Republicans would do?
While I'm at it, the election for a new DNC chairman is coming up: I can see only one viable candidate, Howard Dean. He's outside the incestuous DC network, and most importantly, HAS GUTS, STAYS TRUE TO HIS IDEALS, AND IS ABLE TO ENERGIZE DEMOCRATS AND OTHERS. I would suggest that those are the three most important requirements in a DNC chair. Believe me, if you chose on the basis of those criteria, you'll be rolling in money and people will flock to the Democratic Party.
I can understand why there might have been some strategic reason for John Kerry, and other Democratic "leaders", to remain silent while the evidence for fraud mounted, but that time is past. If you don't seize this issue NOW, the Democratic Party is dead, and so is our Democracy. Daily, John Kerry loses supporters for a run in 2008. But, 2008 won't matter, nor will 2006: you won't have the votes. I quote from Joseph Stalin:
"It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything".
Now, a question: how are you going to look your grandchildren in the face and admit, " I HELPED KILL DEMOCRACY IN YOUR COUNTRY AND TO DESTROY YOUR FREEDOMS BECAUSE I FAILED TO SPEAK OUT AND TO ACT IN 2004"?

8. I gave $ 50 to the GELAC fund
from my teacher's salary of $30,000/year. I answered Congressman Conyers' call to contact the House Judiciary Committee. I signed the MoveOn petition calling for an investigation into election fraud. (I also stood out in the cold for 7 hours on election day as an Election Protection volunteer.) So far I have not seen or read anything to make me believe the Kerry campaign is NOT taking the issue of election fraud (and the far more serious one of minority disenfranchisement) seriously. I do not consider as evidence of such neglect the fact that they do not wish to take every gossipmonger on the internet into their confidence.

10. Did you listen to the Laura F show last night?
Kerry was silent when JJ asked him about his involvement. Edwards fought hard to keep him from conceding

13. I can't listen to Air America where I live
and haven't had much success listening online with my ancient computer and cheap dialup connection. What was the jist of the show?

I just see the decades old John Kerry vs. the left tug-of-war winding its way to same dreary inevitable conclusion with neither side learning anything from the experience and it depresses me unutterably.

I have to admit I can see it a little better from Kerry's side today than I did 20 years ago. I don't think the hysteria, threats, ultimatums, etc., are going to produce anything good.

What a waste.

15. Waste of what?
Life as we were led to believe is being laid waste. We were taught that we had a democracy, that we had a vote, and that the people we voted for would speak for us.

If you label our battle to save our country from traitors (and I'm putting most of congress in this list as they stand by either watching aimlessly or facilitating by their silence) a tug of war with the left, then you're really giving the left a bright spot in history. Even if our history books are written by the thugs, the rest of the world will record it correctly.

"hysteria, threats, ultimatums"--I agree, to these people it won't produce anything at all--I would call it a last desperate attempt to communicate with them. I got mad all over again hearing that Arnebeck needs 200k to proceed.

I'm beginning to see their pre-election collection of funds for recount as a clever political ploy to suck up most of the funds that they knew people of good will would donate--now most can't give where and when it's actually needed.

16. Thank you
I don't know if it is proper etiquette to reply to a welcome or not. I came here because this election campaign and the loss on Nov. 2 have been profound experiences for me and I hoped that among 40,000 odd subscribers there might be one or two who saw it the way I did.

11. Every time I receive an email from MoveOn, DNC, DCCC , etc
soliticing funds, I reply with a demand that they get involved in the election fraud investigations and use the money I have already given to them to fight for democracy. I tell them they will never get another penny from me until they stand up for the nation and democracy.

Then I get some dribble reply saying "we get so much email, we may not be able to reply to yours but we thank you for sending it."

(IMHO, Dean is doing nothing NOW to join in the election fraud investigations and to take a stand NOW against the fraud and for our democracy. He is too concerned about getting DNC top job. - F*ck the party, this goes beyond the party and is so critical to the survival of democracy.)
