* Press Conference
Anyone watching this disaster of a press conference?

Just wanted to revisit the subject of * wearing a wire. If you are watching, please note that each time he gets a question, he gets quiet like he's deep in thought and he kind of stammers for a minute while it looks like he is receiving answers, then he just rambles on, doesn't really answer the question and kind of changes the subject. But there is no doubt that he pauses after each question from the media and looks like he is straining to stall while he listens to the answer in his ear.

I'm DVR'ing so I can watch it back again, but seems so obvious.

1. I'm at work.....
The local AM station was bringing it, but went back to normal programming after ten minutes. Please keep us updated.

As for the pause before the answer, that happened in the debates as well. It was guessed that he was thinking. HA HA HA!

that he has some type of ear piece. SO OBVIOUS. I want the MSM to start calling him on this again....this time without all the laughing.

And Bush.....stop trying to joke with each member of the press corp...this is not your personal open-mic session.

7. He JUST explained what "in the red" means, with that execrable
Edited on Mon Dec-20-04 11:04 AM by DemItAllAnyway
"in other words" habit he has. ARRRRGGGHHH. He has said FOUR times he's not going to negotiate with himself--when a reporter asks him a question. He's acting like he's too sly to be forced into answering their questions. He said "Don't bother to ask"--then corrected himself by saying "Oh, I can't tell you what to ask".

He JUST referred to everything being hard work. Things are "complex" too. That might be the new catchword. Oh my God, I hate this man.

and he's wiggling his lower jaw repeatedly.

11. I know what you mean. Everything is so complex and hard work
that we regular folk just wouldn't understand and he just doesn't have time to explain it all to us layman.......he basically just says "You don't worry bout that."

Sorry, but seems like he ALWAYS favors the camera capturing his left side. During the debates. During press conferences. And thus far has only called on reporters on the right side of the room so he's staring in that direction. Sure he looks over to the right every now and again, but by and large only being shot from the left. Interesting.

I'm sorry -- there is no way...NO WAY that the people of this country elected this stumbling, bumbling, idiot over John Kerry. I will never believe it.

I watched him stumble through the elections and make an ass of himself; he could not have looked more "un-presidential" if he tried. I see that he is continuing where he left off.

This guy truly is an idiot.

noted that Chimp answered a reporter "Don't ask. It's not in the Christmas spirit" or something close to that. What was the question, do you remember? I'm sure it needed answering, I wouldn't think it would have to do with the Christmas spririt.

15. Line Item Veto?
He wishes he had a Line Item Veto...

Now didn't the republicans fight that tooth and nail in the 90s?

This guy is a joke, we're screwed by his actions. Compassionate anything from this guys mouth is laughable, even talking about Compassionate Americans since Bushy hasn't quite grasped the idea of what Compassion is.

To Bush Compassion is killing a people quickly rather than torturing them to death maybe? --- We want to be compassionate Abdullah, (breaking fingers) But you need to tell us about the terrorist cell that operates from your Mosque in Denver!--- Doesn't sound like compassion to me.

the headline on MSNBC. Something like "Bush holds his end of the year press conference and congratulated the Crawford Pirates who just won the Div IIA championship in TX."

Honestly....that's what they reported from the Press Conference. What in the hell is wrong with our media?

fun of me and thinks I'm stupid.

Perhaps you can find out why your friend stutters? Lots of good research material available on the Internet.

bush probably stutters because he's out there front and center, without his mama protecting her baby cub whenever someone gets a little aggressive with their questions. She isn't there to wave her hand and scoff, "Leave my poopsie-woopsie georgie alone. I'm through with you!"

<<SNIP>>
Q Mr. President, I want to kick forward to the elections in Gaza in a few weeks, if I could, please. As you know, presidents back to Carter have searched for a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Your dad worked hard for it. Your predecessor said once it was like going to the dentist without getting your gums numbed. I'm wondering what great --

PRESIDENT BUSH: Guy had a way with words. (Chuckles.)

47. The Moron Keeps Getting His Ear piece Messages Mixed Up
Did anyone notice that Smirky blurted out the bizarre statement "get away from the media" in the middle of one of his signature, mind numbingly stupid ramblings? Obviously, the person on the other end saw Smirky headed for danger and told his dumb ass to wrap it up and the idiot repeated the instructions out loud. He did that in one of the debates.

As for the timing and purpose of the press conference, I would suspect it is related to the ACLU's claim that the Shrubinator personally ordered the torturing of detainees. The difference between men and boys is the size of their toys. ShrubRaHam Lincoln started with firecrackers in frogs butts and now he has real live people. What a world!
