A conservative comment on vote counting (positive)

On another board that is generally not political, but enough so that each of us knows which side of the ballot we vote on we were discussing the problems with the votes, counting, ballots, etc. The comment the conservative lady made was:

"It amazes me that every weekend, the computers in Florida (and every other state with a lottery) can manage to tally all the entries in a matter of an hour and a half and come up with an undisputed winner, week after week after week.

Apparently, it's a matter of priorities."

Nice to see that we're finally making some headway. Even though several of us on that group email each other back and forth in our political debating, one common theme has been the problems with this election. They aren't ready to scream fraud yet, but at least they've moved on past "Kerry lost, get over it" to "yes, there were problems, we should fix those".

Maybe the Senator from Mass has exactly the right strategy after all.
