NYT responds to ltte re Ohio vote:
I quote:

Several hundred other readers have raised similar concerns requesting more coverage on this issue. Mr. Okrent asked me to let you know that he does not believe The Times's coverage of the voting in Ohio is over; please stay tuned.

Sincerely,
Arthur Bovino

2. That is NOT a brushoff!
Man, there is a story there and the gentleman just admitted such, albeit in a guarded manner.

Ooo...interesting.

4. I'd describe it as "coy."
Could be worse, but it would be good to see something better than this lightweight, cryptic flirt.

7. This means they are working on something major.
Not a brush off or coy, maybe true investigative journalism for a change.

10. I love the smell of Napalm in the morning....
...figuratively speaking ofcourse with lots of sarcasm....that answer I see as a very specific answer that it aint' over...

Stay tuned folks....there is something in the air (and it isn't just the stink of the shit sitting in the Oval office...there's more to come...I feel it...)

12. Is this good?
Could it be a "coup de grace" in a bad way? I hope not. I've been looking for Woodstein for months now -- did they move to the NYT? :)

Not over... I tend to like the sound of that, though. I'll light a candle!

14. As long as Mr. Arnebeck's lawsuit is pending, there is news to be made
And the NYT should cover that news. Also the situation with Mr. Conyers requesting exit poll data is newsworthy.

I like the fact that he mentioned that they were receiving letters. That has something to do with it, too, I hope.

18. "Several hundred other readers have raised similar concerns"
Despite the skepticism I sense, that's the best sentence of them all!
