John Conyers DEMOCRAT and other DEMOCRATS on the House Judiciary
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 04:29 PM by mzmolly
started the fraud/irregularity ball rolling on NOVEMBER 5th, 2004 one day after the election.

I wont cede to the "third party hero" mis-information. We all care about our democracy and contribute in our own way, including Nader and Cobb, but make no mistake ~ John Conyers was the first notable official on the scene, and he is a Democrat. Conyers spoke and others followed. He deserves much credit.

In fact, Mr. Conyers has been working this issue for a long time.

:toast: to The Honorable Mr. Conyers and to the various activists (Democrat and otherwise) at DU and other blogs who keep on truckin'.

Edited to add: honorable mention to Jerrold Nadler and Robert Wexler (DEMS) who immediately joined Conyers in this effort. :)

1. Thans MZMolly! Many Kudos to Conyers!
I have loved that man since 2000. IMHO the Black Caucus are almost the only congress people worth anything. There are a few others but only a few!

Though in all fairness, a couple "caucasions" joined him immediately :P

Jerrold Nadler and Robert Wexler to be exact, so they deserve a pat on the back also. :)

4. Conyers definately deserves our deepest thanks
He is a man that knows the obligation behind the office he holds. I applaud the Greens and Libs in their efforts, but I also applaud those Democrats that have stood up to speak for justice. We must never downplay the vital role they have played in this entire process.

Thank you mzmolly

6. Conyers is a good guy but he needs to read the bills he votes for
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 04:29 PM by genius
There was no logicial reason for him to vote for the Intelligence Reform Act except that he didn't read it and decided an unread bill was worth voting for. No one in their right mind trusts the Republicans. Of course, Nancy Pelosi was the main culprit in talking the Dems into voting for the unread bill.

9. Conyers is A! in my book

If he can get to the bottom of tghe FRAUD he does not have to read another word in any bill for the rest of his natural life.

What he is doing is monumental!

circumstances, and so are many others not mentioned here.

20. Great Note!!
Conyers and his cohorts on the judiciary never gave up, either. Nobody would go out on a limb in support of them, stand in front of a bank of cameras and say, "hell, yeah, we are on John's side!!!" And still, he never let us down, not once.

Kudos to John Conyers from my blue state!

23. Kerry's Inauguration Will Be The Best Reward For Such Patriots!
Edited on Fri Dec-24-04 02:07 PM by corbett
Thanks for reminding us of these important details! In light of Kerry's cryptic stance during November, it's easy to lump together the Washington Democrats who kept it real just as soon as we knew that the election was rigged.

Kick for Kerry!

27. I just used your link to send the committee the following message:
I wish to thank you for carrying on the battle to restore democracy to America. Please be assured that many of us are aware of the widespread irregularities and apparent fraud in the last election, and are taking great encouragement from your work in exposing the chicanery accomplished in Ohio, Florida, and various other states. Please keep firmly in mind the fact that you are not just fighting for America, but for humanity at large because what we do here reverberates around the world.
