I don't know about that. We at truthout are actively trying to render the mainstream news media irrelevant, because they deserve it. Other sources, like the awesome RawStory for example, are doing the same thing. Does that put us in a leadership position? Depends on where you're standing. We're just trying to shake the tree and get the truth out there.

24. I have said this so many times on DU, I know I sound like a

broken record, but...
the Presidency does not belong to the weed that would be king and it does not belong to Kerry or to Gore.

IT IS OUR PRESIDENCY, we vote to let a candidate hold the office in trust for 4 years. That does not give ownership to the "winning" candidate as the office is OURS. Since the shits stole our votes and altered our will, it is up to US to fight to recover what is OURS.

The office doesn't belong to any one man, it belongs to the people. The man who claims to have won our votes has broken our trust. IT IS UP TO US TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION AND PUT THE MAN IN OFFICE THAT WE VOTED THERE.

We are very fortunate to have multiple people who are out there investigating, speaking, writing, and keeping us informed. Will has certainly been and will doubtless continue to be one of these vitally important activists. "Leader"? That suggests to me an image of a single person followed by a herd of followers. That's not what's going on here.

I admire, respect, and am grateful for what Will is doing. And I'm looking forward to much more of it.
