Does anyone have any idea how many of us there are?
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 08:03 PM by KaryninMiami
There are hundreds of sites now and more appear every day. There are an array of blasters to media and elected official blasters and from what I understand, they are all doing a tremendous job. PDA reported over 45,000 alone. Tom M. reported 86,000 emails being blasted from his media blaster last weekend. That's only 2 sites reporting over 100,000 emails getting blasted. Imagine what would happen if we added up the rest this total! I think the numbers will be huge, but it would be great to have a better sense of what they really are.

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestion on how we might be able get an estimate of how many of us are involved and how many emails, faxes, etc. have been sent as a result of our collective efforts. It would be a great statistic to use in a future media blast. I sincerely believe that there are an enormous amount of us - not just small group of "internet bloggers and sore losers trying in vain, to make a point" (or whatever the current MSM spin is).

Another great statistic would be to compile the number of unique hits from the election fraud resource sites and other popular message boards and blogs. This too would demonstrate how much interest there is overall.

The more we can demonstrate how many are involved with this effort, the more we can show the media and the rest of America, that we are a force to be reckoned with and a force that cannot and will not be ignored.

On November 3rd, when I did a Google search on Election Fraud 2004, it showed no results. Today there are over 2 million. Doesn't that tell you something?

Any ideas?

2. Question
Are there any media blasters out there that send messages by fax? I'm thinking about developing a fax blaster but would hate to duplicate other efforts.

4. Millions!! depending on who US is...
Ive heard 20-30% of the public believes fraud occured .... so maybe 50 million American are at least aware on some level of fraud, or at least suppression (and anyone that knows computers dont trust evoting). The internet is in many homes, I dont know the figures... but if just a small percent of these aware ppl go to DC... there will be millions! SO join me in DC on the 6th... it will be history in the making!

If us is DU .. thousands .. and more that just read... we are the people... we will be heard!

7. a few stats
A single petition has over 50,000 signatures.

A survey showed that 1/5 of Americans did not trust the election.

Lots of us. I'm sure the tin-foil is flying off the shelves. :)

8. How can we create a master list of statistics?
This is not my forte- but it would sure be a great thing to include in emails to media and elected officials if we could come up with a credible list of people involved, petitions that have been signed, blasts that have been sent, etc. Maybe we need to come up with a list of the major sites first and write to their web person and promise that once compiled, we'll send them the info to post on their site as well.

I saw the 1 in 5 statistic- anyone remember where that came from?

I'm open to ideas and willing to do some of the research but not good at compiling these types of things.

Imagine the press release going out saying "Over 100,000 emails sent to Elected officials, xxxxx million hits a day on Election Fraud sites, xxxx have signed petitions demanding a re-vote, re=count, etc. It adds credibility and will build momentum within all of the groups (and confidence that really are a lot of us out here...

Ideas??
