WHY REPUBLICANS BELIEVE THERE WAS NO FRAUD: From A to Z
Edited on Sat Dec-25-04 08:36 PM by TruthIsAll
The Republican arguments against fraud - from A to Z

a) Exit polls are inherently flawed.
Only the vote counts are accurate.

b) Raw exit poll data is unusable.
Exit polls are flawed anyway.

c) Democrats may have scammed the exit polls for Kerry.

d) The exit poll "cluster" factor widens the margin of error.
Exit polls are flawed anyway.

e) Exit polls in Ukraine are OK, but not so in the U.S.

f) ALL exit poll statistics related to demographics, etc., are accurate, EXCEPT for the presidential vote. Oh, I forgot, exit polls are flawed.

g) Undecideds broke 4-1 for Bush.

h) Repubs were justified in NOT including a paper trail in HAVA. Democrats were out of line in demanding it.

i) If there was fraud, the media would have reported it.

j) Internet mathematicians are conspiracy freaks

k) It's common policy to ADJUST Exit poll data to match the vote. Exit polls are flawed, anyway.

l) Zogby has a poor track record. His methodology is flawed.

m) There is not a shred of evidence that Bush ever stole an election - not in 2000, 2002 or in 2004.

n) Mathematical odds of 1 in 13.5 trillion that Bush could have deviated beyond the MOE from the exit polls to the votes in 16 states proves nothing. Its just math masturbation.

o) Voting by paper is low-tech and time-consuming.

p) Diebold has complied 100% with state regulations and citizen requests. They provide a paper trail for ATM's. That's enough.

q) Democrat are just sore losers. The nation is conservative.

r) The election is over. Get over it.

s) Rove KNEW the real voting results; no one else did. His polls were NOT flawed. Exit polls are flawed.

t) Kerry ran a bad campaign. His internal polls were flawed.

u) The American people and John Conyers don't need the raw data.
v) The American people and John Conyers don't need the software.
w) The American people and John Conyers don't need the machines.

x) It's OK that Republican manufacture the machines.
y) It's OK that Republicans write the code.
z) It's OK that Republicans count the votes.

But these voting machines don't? Things that make you go HMMMMMM.

and see how fast they change their tune on them...

5. It wouldn't have mattered one way or the other....
...one of the least reported or investigated stories of the past election was Bush returning to the White House in a hurry. In my worst nightmare, if Kerry had won, Bush would have barricaded the WH,declared a national emergency and martial law.

Let's hope that I'm just a nutcase and there wasn't a plausible scenario for this.

7. No joke!
I too was pretty convinced that * would never willingly surrender power. I still believe that. We'll have to wait and see what happens when all the votes are counted or when he is impeached. Heck, he may not even leave in 2008 if neither of those two events occurs. It's just hard to tell what someone will do when he thinks he's God's agent on earth.

11. Strange that you brought that up....
Shrub was suppose to stay in Crawford to await the results, but then he had to make a mad dash back to the White House. Why, and did he stop in Ohio on the way back?

Also, for a few months before the election, I was on another board and there was always a pack of Shrub minions on it. One of them seemed to have a lot of military and political connection knowledge. I always made it a point of asking this one in particular when Shrub was going to declare martial law to remain in power and prevent an honest election. This person would clam-up, and I wouldn't hear anything from them for a week or two.

22. Yep. I suspect that shrub has health problems

I would say that that the defibrillator vest is as plausible a reason as any other I've heard.

If you start pulling these factors together:
the bulge in his jacket, the pretzel choking incident, the fainting spell, why he seems to stammer and search so long and hard for words, why he appears haggard or oxygen-starved, why some people suggested he had a drooping mouth on one side of his face, why he had a bit of spittle on the side of his mouth for half of the third debate (couldn't even feel it, I guess), and why he has been seen checking his tie or talking into his tie - it seems that shrub has some health problems.

That's what I told my husband. The way he was acting, his drooping mouth. I should know I had one. Scary as heck. You feel like one side of your body had a big Novocaine shot. At first they thought I had bells palsy and then they found out it was the medicine I was taking caused it. It's not permanent but you need to take care of the underlying cause or it could become a major stroke.

edited for spelling

30. Bush Pre & Post -senile Dementia Video
Bush Pre & Post -senile Dementia Video

The big story - "a striking decline in his sentence-by-sentence speaking skills." The reason? One doctor says "pre-senile dementia" a catch-all term for earlier-than-normal cognitive declines (probably "dry-drunk syndrome"). This video intercuts footage from 10 years ago with recent footage - the difference is dramatic and disturbing. And obvious.

if this it true and it gets out, what will it mean?
Given MSM, it probably won't get out.

9. Probably many repubs believe that Bush cheated but
they do not care because they fight to the bitter end unlike national dems who roll over to please like a dog showing its belly for a scratch.
Then the repubs kick the dems dog (2000) and the dems dog behaves the same in 2004.

It's OK that Republicans commit fraud, because they feel that their "white supremacy" supercedes all others and all institutions, including the institution of democracy.

Some Repubs are already changing their tune; they are singing the verses to our "Ohio song" way over there in Washington state right now.

Also it's not just Republicans who believe this non-sense, it's a lot of Dems too.

I don't even think they don't believe there was no fraud. They just don't care, because it came out in their favor.
Blech. I am 100% soured on our country's political system.

"c) Democrats may have scammed the exit polls for Kerry. "

The very next day, when a concerted attack on exit poles was made (Dick Morris, etc.), I immediately became suspicious as it never fails. He must have been given instruction. They use this tactic constantly of accusing the opposition to that which they themselves are actually doing.
