2. Thanks for linking
There are many excellent articles there.

The story is not out there in the MSM. People need to know what has been going on. Only then will whistleblowers find it safe enough to come forward.

"News: Election 2004: As the Year Ends, a Retrospective on What We've Learned So Far About If/How an Election Was Stolen, and How It Was/Not Reported"

"If fraud is indeed "possible," as the Associated Press's own "non-partisan" experts have said, than for the love of this democracy -- or, if for nothing else, for the love of money a breaking story brings the news outlet that breaks it -- investigate this goddamn election."

4. Eloquent
I love to read words of passion like that. It tells me there are others who care as much as I do.

8. Admitting for a moment... (A Message from The Advocate News Editor)
Edited on Sun Dec-26-04 04:58 PM by nashuaadvocate
...my self-interest in saying so -- given that The Advocate put this letter out, and I'm the current News Editor -- but I do hope those who believe in the broader message of the article (for those who check The Advocate website to find it, it's the article entitled "On Christmas Day, an Open Letter to All Prospective Triad, Diebold, and ES&S Whistleblowers") will make sure that the piece is disseminated as widely as possible. If the letter is to reach its intended audience -- employees of these three or similar voting-machine outfits who may have seen/engaged in suspicious or possibly illegal behavior in 2004 -- it will need to permeate (at the very least) the blogsophere. The Staff wrote it with that hope in mind.

We truly believe that the best hope of a John F. Kerry presidential inauguration, whether it be on January 20th or sometime afterward, is the discovery -- and soon -- of a credible Triad, Diebold, or ES&S whistleblower, followed by a bi-partisan Congressional investigation into the 2004 election (with power of subpoena).

Best wishes to all this holiday season,

The News Editor

Election Worker Refuses to Lie for Voting Software Company
Wendy Orange

By Rick Dawson and Loni Smith McKown

I-Team 8 has more information on a woman who disobeyed her company by telling the truth.

Wendy Orange works for Election Systems and Software, known as ES&S, which sold Marion County its voting system.

Marion County Clerk Doris Anne Sadler revealed Tuesday that the company installed illegal software before last November's election.

The I-Team first met Wendy Orange last January, when we conducted a test on Marion County's new optical-scan voting machines. Orange is the ES&S project manager for Marion County. She's the one who blew the whistle on ES&S for installing illegal software, the same software used to tabulate November's election results.

This was in April...

9. Let's all give Post 8 some thought
Where can we disseminate this? Elevators of Triad? Tape it in the restrooms?

What about printing up copies and putting them on the windshields of cars in their parking lot? Would this be tipping our hand or should we just be direct about it?

Once we come up with some ideas, we should see if we can get some voting rights activists in Ohio to carry out the ideas.

16. Well that certainly would explain
why there aren't dozens of whistle blowers - if it is indeed that small of a company and a family company at that....

Interesting to say the least.
