Will Bush be Inaugurated on Jan 20th, 2009 ??
Bush has stolen 2000 and 2004.

Whats to stop him from refusing to give up power in 2008?

Do we have a "president for life"

If he can do it once, twice..he can do it again and again...no?

1. no
fool us once, shame on you
fool us twice? actually, you really didn't fool us the first time.

i don't think so. i think there is a good chance he might not be inaugurated. if he is i think he will be brought down within months. that's just my gut/personal opinion, but i think that's what you asked for..... :)

4. If so, I'm gone. We (the family) actually discussed this tonight.
At dinner, those of us who got together this evening have agreed that we will be leaving if * extends his stay. I don't know if * will miss a dozen liberals, but we're out. It has been decided.

8. I disagree completely.
Imagine if you left along with other fleeing liberals. That's doing nothing for the United States, it's making the USA a Republican nation forever as there will be no opposition.

10. I think you may have missed the premise:
If * finds a way to install himself for a third term, the United States no longer exists. We all agreed that we would split if that occured, and we will be making plans along those lines. You are talking about some members who were alive during the 1940's; I respect their perspective greatly. When they sit around the xmas tree and say, "This looks bad, we might need to go," I tend to believe them.

9. My family feels the same way
At least most of them do. Those of us w/ kids approaching draft age are fed up with American citizens NOT being willing to fight the good fight in this country. Isn't it sort of sad when Americans sit and watch from afar and admire the Ukrainian people for taking it to the streets, but don't think it's worth it to do the same in their own country. OUR election is far more questionable than what I have read about the Ukrainian mess! I guess someone has to be VISIBLY transformed into something like the "Creature from the Black Lagoon" in order to get American's to see what's right in front of their faces!

5. Bush isn't the president to many Americans
He is committed to lowering our standard of living and using our kids for global profits.

12. Give us some credit.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

13. No - As long as we keep pushing
the entire Republican party will be in shambles by 2008. This will be the last Republican pResident for a very long time.

14. I hate to be the one to bring bad news, but read this article
It talks about the actual possibility of B*sh getting a third term based on a technicality.

15. But ** WAS "elected" in 2000 -- by the Electoral College which is...
the only real election that matters, constitutionally.

Supremes simply stopped the FL recount so that the Florida electoral votes would go to **.

THIS decision resulted in the electoral college ELECTING ** -- nobody was legally "appointed".
