Will the Political Smokescreen Tomorrow Be Human Ashes in Mosul?
Edited on Sun Dec-26-04 12:19 PM by McCamy Taylor
Last week someone started a tongue in cheek thread about what Karl Rove would do to saturate the MSM so that it would not report on Kerry's entering the legal recount challenges in Ohio. I, tongue in cheek, suggested that the Bushies would carpet bomb parts of Iraq in retaliation for the lunch time bombing last week of US service people.

I was kidding.

I am praying for you, Mosul.

http://www.wsws.org/articles/2004/dec2004/mosu-d23_prn.shtml

"US Army and Marine forces, backed up by armored vehicles, helicopter gun-ships and jet-fighters, sealed off the northern Iraqi city of Mosul Wednesday, following the deadly attack at the US military camp outside of the city, which killed 18 Americans and 4 Iraqis Tuesday afternoon."

"This amounts to a public warning of impending slaughter in Mosul on a scale that will undoubtedly dwarf the casualty toll at the US base. As in Fallujah, the killing of hundreds or even thousands of Iraqis will be portrayed by the American military and its media mouthpieces as an act of “liberation.”"

2. They are insane
How many 100,000's of civilian live in Mosul?

That's what Iraq needs right now is another devastated city and 100,000's of refugees.

For what? Because Georgie is in the Christmas spirit and needs to fulfill some more of his blood lust? He hasn't had enough yet?

5. Or they will blow up....
more US service men...

I have had this sinking gut feeling these wacko rat bastards will do anything. Their actions of gross incompetence towards the safety and security of our people in harms way is absolutely distressing. What makes this issue valuable enough for these people to say "Wait a minute this is just not good enough, no single reason or multitude of reasons matters when we are talking about the objective of safety and security”; these are our families. A leader would know the situation is just not good enough, just not right and kick someone’s ass into gear and get what ever problem solved not when it can be scheduled, not after lunch, before one more needless casualty; they ask others to sacrifice and act ignorant when we look for theirs.

So there are just two reasons for this problem with armor for our troops:

1. Incompetence
2. Media Manipulation

The timing throughout the presidential campaign was absolutely distressing of some of the attacks. The latest “Terrorist bombing” of our troops in Mosul; moved down any headlines about the dismissed verdict by the Ohio supreme court. It is seemingly odd coincidence that the frequency of these attacks and events have acted to hide in plain sight these election problems don’t you think?

Think of it from this point of view, by marginalizing the “Election Fraud” * acts only to keep it in the back ground of most the publics conscience. They may read or watch news about the fraud but they will dismiss it because it is not in the foreground of what they know and trust as sources of information. These acts play to the heart of the problems in our entertainment news media. They don’t have to knock a story out of the news completely to be effective they only need to make it less important.

People don’t define the importance of a story the media does that; it is the biggest lobby in Washington and it is a big business. With such a large press corps you have to wonder why they all remain so focused when there are so many stories to tell. You and I know better because it has to do more with the bottom line then it does any other reality!

Any thoughts?

6. My fiance's daughter has a friend
who is being transfered from Germany to Mosul. She claims they are going to have her work on some "construction projects to help the Kurds". The last construction project they put her on was rebuilding Abu Ghraib. This poor kid had her choice of Ivy League scholarships because of her basketball ability. She took the bait from West Point instead. Now she is stuck in a stop loss program. She was just here for Christmas. I last saw her two years ago when my fiance's daughter was married. She looks nothing like she used to. She looks absolutely haunted, and she is unable to even talk about what she has seen. I wonder what fresh hell awaits her in Mosul.

7. It could really be anything. It doesnt take a big story for the MSM
to play dead, any story will do.

"Bush stubs toe. Doctors expect full recovery."

"Dollar slips another .0005 cents against Sumatra currency."

"Aseroid could hit earth in 2093."

Page 18 (bottom left corner)

"Kerry now supports dissidents and voting conspiracy."
