The "New York Times" says the truth tires Washington Voters!

"Recounts and Partisan Bickering Tire Washington Voters"
<clip>
SEATTLE, Dec. 25 - Washington voters, confused by the bizarre turn of events in the excruciatingly close race for governor after more than seven weeks of vote counting, legal wrangling and partisan battling, are starting to sound quite flustered.
</clip>

Maybe they wouldn't be tired if they actually were informed of what was going on! I think the New York Times is trying to KILL a story, it's a disgrace.

1. The use of the word tired was a reporters/editor poor decision
Confusion is caused by lack of facts not conjecture. But hey, the NYT is a tired newspaper whose reporters were too tired to ferret out war truths, management was too tired to do the right thing with fraudulent reporters and I am just to tired to keep reading them...

2. link? and I'm not tired, I'm patient
So what if I don't know right away who won? So what? Eventually I will. You can't always predict the future. So there.

4. Nah, I'm in Washington, we are NOT tired..maybe newspaper is..lol.
I don't have any sense whatsoever in Washington that we, Washingtonians are "tired". A) We still have Gov. Locke no matter how long this vote/election counting goes on, B) the people involved in counting likely are tired, it went into the holiday season, but they are NOT complaining, C) I'm pretty sure the republicans are way tired, so it goes.

Story is disingenious, and our local newscasters are way too steady to be tired, so don't know where the NYT is getting it's info or who talking to, but believe me, in Washington spirits are high, NOT tired.

BTW, my gratitude to all the DUers who sent contributions for the WA state recount, it was a moving (to me) holiday gift.

7. in portland we're not tired either
someone at the NYT has seriously misunderestimated the spirit of the northwest!! Everyone I know in portland is looking with excitement to the developments in the WA guv race. The only ones who seem tired are the Rossi supporters. And the MSM- not tired, but ASLEEP.

8. I thought that the race had flipped and the dem won
and that now the repukes want a revote.

I guess the times will have to flip-flop and say that the people are invigorated and ready to go if the repukes need another vote.

9. We aren't the ones who are tired -- it's the media that's tired.

After all, it takes a lot of time and effort to not cover Scott Peterson for a few minutes out of every broadcast.

People are exasperated, yes. But we're interested. We don't want the story to go away until the story is over. We want an end to the bickering, but not an end to the coverage.

12. I don't believe that the Washington voters are "confused" at all
I think all of them know exactly what's going on. Furthermore, the NYT can take its insulting paternalistic attitude and stick it where the sun don't shine.
