Olberman dismisses Curtis....but had "Heads Up" from Kerry Lawyer
Before anyone else was informed of the Kerry filing?

What gives here. Most of us were waiting all day for the Kerry Filing news but according to MSNBC Olberman had the report up just after Noon today...where he "parses" and "nuances" Kerry's attorney...while later trashing Curtis and those of "the few" who e-mailed him about why Curtis' statements have validity.

I'm sick of Olberman playing "Howard Slimeman (Fineman)" games with us.

They stuck Olberman with US and US with him...to get away with NOT having to report anything of value about "Stolen Election 2004!"

Disgusting. :puke:

Kerry lawyer: does the re-election warrant the public trust? (Keith Olbermann)

NEW YORK - I spent the weekend holding the latest statement from John Kerry’s Ohio attorney up to the light, to see if I could read the secret treasure map written in invisible ink on the other side.

In signing on to the Glibs’ court bid to preserve all the evidence of what has been a severely compromised recount, Daniel Hoffheimer told us at Countdown: “Only then can the integrity of the entire electoral process and the election of Bush-Cheney warrant the public trust.”

Surely, I’m not going out on a limb here to infer that at the moment, Mr. Hoffheimer and the Kerry-Edwards campaign don’t think the entire electoral process and the election of President Bush warrant the public trust.

I mean, the infamous “regardless of the outcome of the election,” phrase in Kerry’s only post-concession comment on the mangled vote was so subtle in both temporality and meaning that it could have been inserted in a statement dealing with any eventuality ranging from a clearly determined vote that was in the past, to a still undecided result.

7. Will, the statement about Curtis is up under his Dec. 27th post...here's
the whole quote... Maybe my "browser" is a problem or something...(I'm Netscape not MS-IE)but I went back and checked twice and the "Curtis" comments are attached to his "TODAY-12-27" post on his Blog.

Here's the post... about Curtis...just so you know I wasn't using "lying Eyes" here in my post. Check out his Website and scroll through "12/27" and read about Curtis...He trashes him...and gives very little verification for doing so...

-------------

Voters and politicians will have to determine if that is an appropriate playing field for political discourse for the next two or four years.

Speaking of discourse, I’ve received a handful of e-mails since I mentioned in passing in last Tuesday’s post, the claims of a Florida computer software worker that he was asked to write a ‘vote-switching program’ in 2000. There have been several points raised that can, I think, be pretty easily cleared up here:

* Several e-mails noted that the programmer, Clint Curtis, testified before the Conyers Voting Forum in Columbus, Ohio, earlier this month. Well, yes and no. He did tell his story there, but it’s instructive to note that he was not asked to do so until after Representative Conyers left the forum, and had turned the chairing of the meeting over to a local politician. This wasn’t a case of Conyers rushing to catch a bus, nor a problem with too many witnesses, nor a coincidence.
* For weeks, say sources at various levels of the formal investigations into the voting irregularities, Mr. Curtis has promised them corroboration of his accusations — even if it was just the statement of someone to whom he said, in 2000, ‘hey, this guy just asked me to write a vote-switching program.’ These sources say they’ve received no such corroboration, and certainly u:levelul>

8. No - I meant Keith wasn't commenting TODAY
on what Kerry filed TODAY.

I've read the piece.

KO was commenting on the statement from Kerry's attorneys that occurred last week.

6. I personally believe Keith wants Kerry to act overtly.
I don't find him snotty at all. Just impatient and perhaps disappointed at the apparent lack of deciveness of Kerry. Although Kerry is acting through his legal team, he has not yet made one audible public statement about any of the actions made in his name. Do you know how fast it will get on the news if he did?

14. It's an issue of "credibility from me." Olberman/MSNBC 12/27 is what I
Posted....yet folks are saying what I posted is wrong? I've checked the site four times...keep coming up with the same comments and thread about "Curtis" posted after 12:00 p.m. (est) today.

If my Browser is wrong because I use Netscape and therefore what I'm reading isn't true...then please post what your "IE" Browser says...

I wish I was wrong...I hope that this was some "OLD OLBERMAN" post from before his vacation...

Please! Tell me this post is old and not the date which MSNBC says which is "12/27" including the Curtis "afterthought on the same date where KO trashes him and those who e-mailed him about Curtis...
