It's almost as if Kerry/Edwards is saying...
We filed in court today for evidence to show the conspiracy theorist that there IS no evidence of fraud...if you believe what Keith Olbermann reported on Countdown tonight. I just don't get it. Have we been had?????

1. Well, if it's the truth, don't you want to know?
And if it's not, we'll find THAT out now, won't we?

2. Big time! What about the issue of voting rights.
A Democratic issue from way back, one of our proudest moments. These clowns can't even speak out for that. They make me sick. Words escape me!

3. As crazy as it may sound......
What if that is the plan? We don't really think there is anything, but let's just quiet down those crazy conspiracy theorists with a well placed lawsuit or two. Then the real info starts bubbling up to the top and the scandal starts to unfold, but it wasn't "really" started by the K/E campaign. Get my drift? Maybe this is exactly the cover they want? Just a thought that struck me when I read your post. Maybe things aren't as they really seem?

5. Nickster, hoping you are on to something...but......
I'm also starting to wonder if I'm being very naive here looking for the plan behind the plan behind the plan behind the plan...yadda yadda. I haven't lost heart, but I am really starting to feel foolish that I set my expectation bar maybe too high. I wanted Kerry in office, B*** out of office and not months and months and years of investigations/vote irregularities, maybe, maybe not.

I'm still hoping Kerry is a strategist knowing where he is going with his every step, but I'm also starting to feel like I'm looking for something to be there that simply is not there.

...... hangs head and walks away.

22. I don't see how what was said today is any different than what's been said
before.

It's still the same line they've been using since the beginning. "Move along, nothing to see."

This has been their official line since Nov. 3rd. Why are people acting like they've never heard it before?

Kerry is doing what Kerry said he would do. No more. No less.

23. Move On, Nothing Too See???
.....Have you considered the possibilty that the statement was directed toward the GOP.....Nothing to get all hot and bothered about.....I think that it plays well assuming that JK&Co. are actually digging in for the long haul.....My belief is that we have crossed the schism of the media providing any assistance regarding Bush%Co so in a sense their silence is beneficial.....

Nothing to see, these are not the droids you're looking for... sort of a Jedi mind trick.

If Edwards was Luke Skywalker, then Kerry was Yoda. Teach you I will, yes.

6. thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!
That is EXACTLY what I have been thinking all along. K/E are NOT STUPID and they have a well thought out plan that is a class act and will work in the end. Scandal chased Nixon everywhere he went until he was on his knees. I was a teenager in the 60's and I watched it unfold daily. I really think this is it.:bounce:

4. I am hoping that just wanted to keep it on the low down until more pops up
for them to use on their filing, let it grow a little, you know Kerry is like that, always wanting more information to use, to strenghten his case when he goes into action. Perhaps ??

7. This could be a nice ploy.
To access the voting machines without making a stir.

Kerry's Lawyer: "Oh, we just want to prove that * won fair and square, to ease the concerns of the conspiracy nutcases (us). The election is over, don't worry about it. All Hail King Bush!"

After accessing an electronic voting machine, and finding a vote-rigging program (or any other convincing evidence of fraud):

Kerry's Lawyer: "Oh shit, we found some big-fucking evidence, I have to retract my previous statement. Bush stole the election, and we're going to take the fucker down."

Kerry, Jan. 20: "I swear to defend the constitution blah blah blah..."

15. That's what I'm thinking....
I've been on the fringe of all the election fraud talk since it began. I'm very torn between, things are going to happen and things are just going to go on as usual.

I know in my heart that there was serious fraud. There is just way too much evidence to be discounted. I know America doesn't support this monster. It's kind of like the JFK assasination to me. There is just so much evidence, why the hell doesn't someone else see it? The realist part of me says that maybe "We" don't really want to see it and it would cause to much trauma for "Us" to actually see it.

I dunno, I've got my fingers crossed and hope something pops with every thread I read. I just keep thinking, if he really is fighting this, why would he let any of us know until he had the goods? If we can find stuff out, you know for sure that the BFEE can find it out too. So why would he actually show us his cards? Remember during the campaign that the K/E campaign threw out nuggets to the MSM that turned out to be false. I can't remember the specifics, but I recall there were a few episodes where they put out misinformation to throw the MSM off. I haven't bailed on Kerry yet, come Jan 20th, maybe it's a different story. I'll just patiently wait until then.

29. that must be it.
I have been thinking the Swifties had it right. But, now I think they are throwing a Hail Mary in the final seconds. Since all the levers of power are against Kerry-his only hope is a mistake by a confused opponent. Still think public opinion would have been the better strategy.

16. managing expectations
I think they are trying to keep the pace slow and steady as they gather evidence....as another poster said, just correcting the course from Kerry's lawyer who might have given away too much the other night (and then KO parsing all the words).

17. KO is hard to figure out but
This dude is very smart. Joking about the situation, almost like Jon Stewart, may be the only way he thinks he can keep up the appearance that the voting fraud issue is not that important. I believe deep down he thinks this is very serious and he is worrying about being censored off the air.

He knows good and well he is the only one keeping this topic in the mainstream media at all. His way of keeping it there is to poke all the holes in the story he can and to keep prodding us. But he is keeping it on the air and I think the way he is doing it is keeping his censors off his back.

All this constant talk about taking a vacation for good and about never having got the memo to shut down the story, I think is just flat clever cover. Start reading between the lines. He is cryptic, but believe me he wants to get us there. That's my 2 cents and I have no insider information.
