How many people REALLY believe that fraud occured?
I know we've all heard the 20% figure from, what was it, Gallup? I'm not sure. But what is that figure, really? How many people answered "No, I don't believe there was fraud" because they were afraid to say "Yes, I do"? I know that I, personally, was afraid to email my senators at first (don't worry, I'm over that now) about contesting the election based on fradulent actions because I thought that I would be put in some sort of crazy file, or my email would be stamped with a big red "TREASON" stamp. Errr. It seems ridiculous now, but at the time, it seemed like there was nothing the Republicans wouldn't do, including detaining people based on their beliefs re: the election...

And also, how many know that there was fraud, but refuse to acknowledge it? You know, "Bush couldn't have won, there's no way, but there's also no way fraud went on in America. It's impossible. Not in MY country."

Anyone have any ideas?

3. I believe many people feel there is always shenanigans during
all elections to some extent, but right now probably 2% think that fraud was rampant and really changed the results of the election.

4. 100% in my house
100% in my family
100% at my workplace
plus 80% of my street's residents.

So that's 380%!

hey it works for me.

5. 100% at my house, and probably 99% at DU, I'd guess...
But there is always fraud in every election, it's just so widespread and obviously life altering now. I'm originally from Chicago where I'm sure the dead still vote, and I bet we still do 23 years after moving to CA.And they were hardcore democrats under the Dailey Machine. Don't know if his son does it with the same vigor.

6. I believe there are more than will openly admit it

countless more, and the more they see openly stating that they believe, the more will say so. Everyone I have talked to about it always says something like, "yes, I know there is something wrong" or "I always felt it in my gut", or something along those lines. People KNOW. We have to give them the courage to speak out and stand with us.

7. It was Harris, not Gallup.

I think it wasn't fraud that was mentioned, not
directly at least.

Here is the actual poll.

Overall 16% found the election to have been conducted
unfairly. Broken down by party affiliation,
it was:

Republicans 4%, Democrats 27%, Independents 15%

Overall 23% thought there were some attempts to prevent
legitimate voting, while 8% thought there were many
such attempts. The sum of those is 31%, twice as high as
the number who thought the election was unfair. Not really
consistent, if you ask me ... but nevermind.

It's a pretty significant percentage who thought there
were serious problems at that point in time.

I seem to remember a poll at the time which
had more questions, but can't find it now.

I'ld like to see the poll repeated.
