"John Kerry And Pals Still Working To De-Legitimize The Election" ~ RW Rag
http://www.useless-knowledge.com/1234/new/article286.html

"Could this latest challenge be the reason John Kerry held out $50MM (Kerry said it was only $15MM) from contributions to his campaign fund? Had he planned to challenge the election all along? If you believe anything Mr. Kerry has said, then you must believe it. Prior to the election, Kerry and his sycophants said that if the Kerry/Edwards ticket lost, they would “automatically challenge the election”. In the Kerry campaign book, his Kool-Aid drinkers were told to claim ‘voter suppression’ even if there was none. So, here he goes. At last count, Kerry had 17,000 lawyers working toward creating fraud, where there was none, to overturn the election and place Kerry in the White House. If there ever was a political party trying to foment sedition amongst its under-educated ranks and create an atmosphere rife for rebellion, it’s the Democrat Party. Be watchful. Their dirty tricks, definitely, haven’t ended yet."

So, according to the RW Kerry IS the driving force behind "illegitimate" accusations of fraud. And, according to some on the "left" Kerry is not doing diddly about fraud? Here you have a perfect example of the ridiculous/perpetual NO WIN situation any Democratic candidate finds himself in over any given situation. It would be comical if it weren't so friggen pathetic.

14. If you didn't get book larnin' from the King James Bible, you
Liberal Elitist, you don't know nothing. (Okay, that's condescending but holy cr@P, THEY get to be inconsistent and WE get to be the "Dissidents".
Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh. Time to rewrite these rules.)

I wonder if my dad, who constantly quotes the Collected Works of Archie Bunker, knows James was gay? Or that that bible was commissioned, not found on a mountaintop somewhere with the Tourin Shroud and a dup set of the Ten?

7. The tug of war clearly has the rw knickers in a knot.
Clearly, somebody learned something after the debacle in 2000. Do not fight on the enemy's ground - create your own advantages. Seems some Dems are learning! ;)

8. No, it IS comical. That's how comedy works, folks, it writes itself!
Kerry could "de-legitimize" this election without breaking a sweat, with one hand and over the phone.

Btw, why does Kerry have "syncophants" and Bush have "patriotic Christian supporters"?

These guys are REALLY funny.

lol

11. "Plausible Deniability."
EVERYONE (?) knows Kerry's working this thing. But he's put himself in the possition of always being able to say: "Who, moi?" 'Course, that drives some of US nuts, but it's a very good strategy.

15. What was up with that playbook spin thing
I hated that during the campaign. I had wingnuts calling me at HQ asking to see it. I asked them to leave their name and I'd have someone higher up call them to discuss what the flying fuck they were talking about, but they'd answer "Oh, no no no. I won't do that." I told one guy he was buying the bullshit. I blamed it on local conservative radio.

Our County Exec tried to deny a request for extra ballots this year because he said we were asking for three times the number of registered voters. Well, we ALWAYS get 3 times the ballots we need, and he was trying to give us less than we'd gotten in the last two elections. Considering that turnout was expected to be up, that was just nuts. But he had all the wingnuts here convinced the Dems were trying to vote two, three, or four times. Meanwhile the suburbs were getting all the ballots they asked for no questions or hassles.

When the C.E. took it to court, all they had were vague accusations and we had the facts (ie that we were only asking for 500 more ballots per ward, that's all). So the court ruled in our favor and the C.E. ended up coughing up the ballots anyway. Perhaps people agree we don't need three times the ballots, but the time to decide this is not a couple of months before an election.

So what was in that damn playbook anyway, and what was the true point, because we know it's not what the freepers are assuming.

17. um.....
"In the Kerry campaign book, his Kool-Aid drinkers were told to claim ‘voter suppression’ even if there was none."

I guess I forgot to read that book, I was more concerned with the actual FUBAR elements of what happened. And I do not drink kool-aid - too much sugar and lake dye.

Not sure how we're elite and brainwashed by liberal professors, yet under-educated. Maybe he means under-educated in the sense of being "educated" by theocratic Nationalist zeal.....

21. Who needs a pretzel when I am choking to death on laughter?
HAHAHAHAHAHA
*GASP*

Kerry distributed a booklet to his supporters prior to the election INSTRUCTING THEM TO CLAIM VOTER SUPPRESSION even if there was none?!?!!?!

HAHAHA!!!

OMG, these silly little neocons sure do make me giggle. Yes, right. Have they been able to produce this book?

Next thing you know "Kerry's" campaign book appears on the MSM, but oddly, it is handwritten on White House letterhead in Bush's signature childish scrawl:

"lie and tell um you were opresed...if they ax you, wurks reel good for blak peeple. also, peetend the mashinz broak and ate yer ballad hahahaha, love Geroge Bush, I mean John Karry"

30. Then why the Texas group making vote suppression calls in OH ?
There was a 'Texas Strike Force' or somesuch entity mentioned on Air America that was making phone calls in order to suppress the vote turnout by Dems in OH...So why the lying skankiness from the Grand Old Party ?

It certainly begs the question, was Rove up to something ?

18. Yeah right...
It's pretty easy to get 17,000 lawyers to just "invent fraud" when there is none. Oh yeah, they do that stuff all the time.

Yes, I know some do...

But 17,000 at once!!

Kerry has 17,000 lawyers!

That's a LOT of lawyers. I wonder if he's even met them all.

HAHAHAHAHA

WHO THE FUCK HAS 17,000 LAWYERS??!!

Come on right-wing, at least make it SEMI believable!

19. Bush's "Mandate" .... cough, gag...
is about a 60% voter turnout with the 'election' decided by, if you believe the media, 30% for Bush and 29% for Kerry, and about 40% so disgusted they didn't even bother to show up at the polls...or had their votes invalidated.

22. Hey, now we know for sure - Kerry IS working on it!
Up til now it's just been rumored. I'm glad they clarified it for us. And I think it's only 16,999 lawyers, cause they forget to tell that one who was on tv last night. And I'm PISSED because I didn't get that playbook. and I supported the Kerry campaign and still do. Yet they left ME in the dark, and told those folks what they were up to. Sheesh - If I'd a known I was supposed to claim vote suppression I woulda done it immediately, and not waited for the evidence to start trickling, then roaring in. I'm glad we have the right wing media to let us know what's REALLY going on!

27. John Kerry who?
He abandoned us all, when he refused to Gore himself on national television. Never mind what he's doing in court, he is not on our side. The world is coming to an end and it is all his fault

NADA is not a big enough word for what he has not done.

BTW I BELIEVE :bounce:

I just spent Christmas with relatives who are so rightwing it's frightening. Clinton is to blame for EVERYTHING. Bush sits on the right hand of the Almighty alongside what's-his-name and I had to seeth through 'all of the wonderful things he does' because because because because....they're my relatives.

but it's much easier if you only have one villian to keep track of. Although, in certain situations, you may substitue Hill for Bill. One last name, two rhyming first names: Easy Peasy.

Really, how long can they do that...snore... It's so five minutes ago.

38. Be very afraid then. These neocon skanks will revert to Chile
as their model. We'll be the 'disapparacidos' with the Army doing its domestic security 'martial law' thing, only they won't call it that. Think I'm kidding ? Look at what the Army did with MLK in the late '60's under a Democratic President then LBJ.

The war, as with all show business acts "the show must go on", must go on or why have a Military Industrial Congressional Complex ?
