"... many of which appear to violate both federal and state law.."
From Conyers letter.
I don't see how a body of Law folk, Rep. and Dem. alike, can refuse to investigate likely crimes. The impersonation of an FBI agent in the Homeland Security lockdown is a felony in and of itself.

1. I wonder if they are ever going to investigate that FBI lockdown in
Warren County? I think that could also lead to somewhere, like a whistleblower.

9. LOL! Patsy, it's just like we are being programmed to believe our own
lying eyes, doesn't it?

Repukes: "Repeat after us, Chimp won, Chimp won, Chimp won, Chimp won. Do you believe it know?"

Dems: "Um, no."

Repukes: "Okay, repeat after us, Chimp won, Chimp won, Chimp, won, Chimp won."

LOL!

7. True, whalerider55. But, just liked zapped stated, they still
impersonated an FBI agent and locked down the precinct and didn't let anyone in during the voting tallying. Wouldn't it still be considered a crime?

10. hold yer fire...
i believe a crime was committed. my point was that it should be a simple investigation. like, a "slam dunk", at least on this allegation. i need to speak more clearly when everyone is so touchy...

14. You do know the lock down had been planned the week before?
The Board of Election members met in a closed door meeting and decided to shut the place down on election day. They even discussed making signs to redirect people.

Warren's vote tally walled off

Friday, November 5, 2004

<snip>

Warren County Emergency Services Director Frank Young said he had recommended increased security based on information received from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in recent weeks.

Commissioners made the security decisions in a closed-door meeting last week, but didn't publicize the restrictions that were made until after polls closed.

"If we were going to make a judgment, we wanted to err on the side of caution," Commissioner Pat South said Thursday. "... Hindsight is 20-20. There was never any intent to exclude the press.

"We were trying to protect security."

WCPO-TV (Channel 9) News Director Bob Morford said he's "never seen anything like it." When he first heard about Warren County's building restrictions, he said he understood concerns that too many people could make the counting process "a circus." But he said it's never been a problem in the past, and that the county could have set up a security checkpoint and had people show identification.

4. There's a lot of criminal activity here. The impersonation as you say,
Edited on Thu Dec-30-04 05:54 PM by acmavm
the letters going out to people telling them to vote at the wrong precincts, or telling them in case of rain to vote the next day. That company who went around registering voters but did not register the democrats. There's plenty of fraud and criminal activity to go around. There are a LOT of people who should be up on charges as we speak.

edit: I forgot one of the biggies. The federal agents that went around intimidating black voters and the not-so-federal agents who said they were who did the same thing.
