Congress (Senate) Drops Ball In 2000... MIRRORS NEEDED FOR VIDEO FILE
A mate of Scoop's Daniel Patrick Welch - http://danielpwelch.com/ - is planning a publicity campaign based around the video linked at the following link. If you have seen the opening scene from F911 you will know what this is about.

http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/video/congressdropstheball2001.wmv

Michael Rivero - Whatreallyhappened.com - is also keen to help on this project as is Scoop. However neither of us have the bandwidth if this gets really big. Hence we want as many people as possible to mirror the above linked file. Tis a 7 meg .wmv file....

Please post the urls for your mirrors below and Daniel will pick em up from this thread.

And please keep this kicked.

regards
Al

Make it available via BitTorrent? The official site is here

On edit:

BitTorrent is a cooperative file download protocol, think of it as 21st century FTP. The server of the file runs a tracker program that coordinates downloading. During transmission the file is divided into parts. As you download parts of a file, you also serve those parts to other people who want the file, and they serve to you, peer to peer. The real kick is that the more people get the file, the better the performance of the download, because each downloader becomes a server for parts of the file for other people, effectively becomming a dynamic mirror.

From the FAQ:

Q: How can I contribute to a file distribution without downloading?

Just leave BitTorrent running after it's done downloading. If you already have the complete file(s), restart downloading and resume to the existing file(s).

So if you leave the process running after you download it, the 'tracker' on the server will continue to use your machine to serve parts of the file.

6. Mirrored.
I hope that real media is OK. Cut it down to 4.5MB and it still looks OK to me. I can probably reduce the size of WMV file too, if you like.
