A day or two ago, somewhere on the site, there was a thread suggesting we contact a certain Senator who has been pulled out of retirement to fill an unexpectedly vacated seat, and would not be seeking office again when his term was up. The person who posted the thread provided contact info for the Senator, whose name, I unfortunately cannot recall, but the poster suggested this might be a good candidate to challenge the election, since he had no interest in re-election. I am unable to find this thread again.
