New Years Res: No one who does not contest will ever get my vote again. |
|
Who's ready to stand up for that and replace any spineless Dems in the primaries?

6. I wouldn't think you'd have much nose left at this point. Open your eyes; |
|
the democratic party is worse than useless at this point because they give people, just like yourself, the *illusion* that there is an opposition party working diligently against the repukes, when in fact there is not. You are cutting off your own nose by *voting* for them.

I don't think your idea is so radical. As everything, it's case by case, I can't speak to their knowledge or character-but right now my love of any politician (save apparently those that have Black skin and know what courage really means) is amazingly low.
Don't even know if I will vote again-on a national level, local is always much easier to decide and more essential in my view.
No promises have been made to me to insure this is really a Democracy so I'm not making any promises.
Right after November 2nd, my main thought was "hmmm might as well write in my own name for President since I have as much chance being elected as John Kerry."
Do you think any of our senators undestand the despair and loss of faith in Democracy for someone to believe such a thing?

If you think the situation is bad now, vote more Democratic Senators out and see how bad it gets.

14. Given a choice between democrats... |
|
...who did their job and stood up to be counted and democrats who wimped out for whatever reason I will choose the one who did his/her job.
I don't see the career risk here. I see big upside, little downside to standing up and opposing lies, deceit, fraud, immorality, and the "ends justify the mean" mentality that permeates every policy the BA has, including campaign and election behavior.
I want there to be so many democratic senators standing up that the ones who don't will be embarrassed and shamed.
